Victoria Beckham revisits her Spice Girls days with touching duet with son Cruz
Victoria Beckham took a trip down memory lane while singing the beloved 1997 Spice Girl track “Viva Forever” with her youngest son, Cruz Beckham.
The hitmaker — known as Posh Spice — and the 20-year-old gracefully sang an acoustic version of the song from the girl group’s second studio album, “Spiceworld,” per an Instagram video shared Wednesday.
The video showed Victoria sitting on a living room couch and swaying while across from her son, who also played the guitar.
David Beckham, 50, was the man behind the camera and playfully joined in for the final chorus.
“Sorry I ruined it 😂,” the former soccer pro commented.
Several fans gushed over the sweet duet, with one writing, “THIS IS EVERYTHING! 😍 we love you @victoriabeckham forever our Posh Spice! ❤️.”
“Seeing Victoria singing her greatest song again is EVERYTHING 🥺✌🏼💟,” another wrote.
“This. Is. Iconic.❤️,” a third chimed in.
Others pleaded for the “Wannabe” songstress, 51, to reunite with the Spice Girls for a reunion tour.
Last month, Victoria commented on potentially getting back together with her bandmates: Mel B (Scary Spice), Melanie C (Sporty Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice).
When asked on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show if the ’90s group would take on a Las Vegas residency at the Sphere, she responded, “It’s tempting.”
“It would be tempting, but could I take on a world tour? I can’t. I have a job,” she added, per People.
Victoria, however, joked that her singing abilities might not be up to par.
“I don’t know if I could even still sing,” she joked. “I mean, I was never that great.”
The Spice Girls, who were together from 1994 to 2000, unofficially reunited at Victoria’s 50th birthday bash to perform their 1997 track, “Stop.”
They last performed together at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012.
