Victoria Beckham hasn’t let her broken foot get in the way of her workout routine.
The Spice Girls star, 49, appeared shattered as she finished her gym session alongside husband David Beckham. She shared a snap of herself in black activewear as she worked on her toned arms. Victoria had her medical boot on display as she donned a crop top and skintight leggings.
She suffered a ‘clean break’ to her foot after falling over during a workout session on Valentine’s Day. The icon has been wearing a medical boot ever since getting the injury as she revealed it is ‘taking a long time to heal’. Victoria has been working on her upper body strength as she strained while putting in some hard work.
The fashion designer captioned her post: “It was a tough one today @davidbeckham,” and joked: “But I do need to work on my facials!!!” Husband David also made an appearance as he was snapped lifting some weights in nothing but a pair of pink shorts. The former footballer, 48, showed off his toned physique for the snap.
Victoria said: “Early work out with my husband!!” Last month, the England star attempted to ease Victoria’s pain as he gave her a thoughtful gift. Posh Spice shared a few videos of David setting up her gift – a ‘knee rover’ scooter made for individuals who can’t put weight on their foot or ankle. “Okay, so David bought me a bike to try and help keep my foot, which is taking a long time to heal. So he bought me this little bike with a basket,” she said from the sofa as David fixed the basket.
David interrupted: “Not any bike. A kneerover.” He then demonstrated the uses of the bike, which came with a drink holder, basket and a bell. “A bell for a belle,” David quipped as he clipped on the bell. She then treated her fans with a cheeky video of a zoom-in of his bum as she said: “How’s it going, darling?”
Victoria demonstrated her new mode of transport as she captioned it: “The best gift my husband ever bought me!!!” She sustained her injury when she fell over during a workout session at home. Posh Spice took to her page to post a snap of her foot covered in a bag of ice. “Happy Valentine’s Day to me… fell over in the gym!!!” the star captioned her post and added a face palm emoji.
David later shared an update on her injury and posted a photo of her foot in a medical boot. “Apparently my wife’s little accident in the gym was a clean break… [sad face],” he wrote. Last week Victoria shut down rumours of a Spice Girls reunion to mark their 30th anniversary this year. During an interview with Radio France, Victoria shared: “We do have a group chat. I do speak to all the girls. It would be lovely for us to do something to celebrate [the 30th anniversary] – a dinner or a lunch – and reminisce. But yes, it will not be any more than that.”
