‘We Were Liars’ star Candice King shares her six favorite books

Though she has very little free time, actress Candice King savors the moments she gets to pick up a book.

“I wish I was as consistent a reader as I used to be,” King — whose new series “We Were Liars” premieres June 18 on Amazon Prime — tells Page Six. “Life gets busy and I forget to pick up the books waiting for me on my bedside table.”

Adds King, “But when everything slows down there’s nothing I love more than finding fast friends in the characters of the book I’m reading.”

“My favorite book as a kid that still ignites my inspiration as an adult.”
