“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” Brown and Bongiovi wrote in a joint Instagram statement in August 2025. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter in both peace and privacy.”

They concluded, “And then there were three! Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”

The Stranger Things actress married Bongiovi, one of rock star Jon Bon Jovi’s sons, in 2024 after two years of dating. Even before their daughter’s arrival, Brown and Bongiovi were on the same page about expanding their family.

“We were pretty united going into it,” Brown told Vanity Fair in a profile published in March 2025. “We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for [and] the kind of careers we want.”

She added, “It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”

In the snaps, Brown wore a sweatshirt that said “Mother” while pushing her little girl in a stroller. Brown and Bongiovi were later spotted pushing her pram in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood on August 23, 2025.

Brown and Bongiovi also remained mum about their little one’s name so far, though the Florence by Mills founder might have left a subtle clue with her personal gear. In the Daily Mail photos published in August 2025, Brown’s iPhone case appeared to feature the letters “RWB” that could potentially hint at their daughter’s initials.

Brown previously teased her favorite baby names during an appearance on “Call Her Daddy” earlier in 2025.

“I have 25 farm animals [and] they’re all named. The donkeys are ‘B’ names, cows [are] Barnaby and Bessie,” Brown quipped of her pets. “I’ve realized I’ve named them all after names I actually really like for kids’ names. Winnie [is] my dog’s name, and I love that name for a kid. I cannot because Winnie has truly ruined the name. She’s a psycho dog. She’s the best dog ever … [but she’s] emotionally dependent.”
