Mayor of Kingstown, the Paramount+ series from co-creators Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, returns on Oct. 26 for an explosive fourth season.
“It’s a detonation, not an escalation,” Dillon, who also stars as Detective Ian Ferguson, told Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming episodes. “The blade’s sharper. The cuts go deeper. It’s about the intricacies of human emotion under pressure, and the choices we make when we have no good choices left. It’s an incendiary season 4.”
Jeremy Renner leads the series as Mike McLusky, and some new cast members are joining him for the latest installment, including Edie Falco, who plays a tough prison warden.
“Edie Falco, I think, is a really great highlight,” the Hawkeye star told Good Morning America in October 2025. “She creates a lot of problems for me to get to try to protect my brother, who’s a cop who goes to prison. So there’s a lot of tension that goes on between us two.”

Mayor of Kingstown season 4 will debut on Oct. 26.
The third season concluded in August 2024 and Paramount+ renewed Mayor of Kingstown for season 4 in December 2024.
According to the renewal announcement, the series was No. 1 on the streaming platform throughout its third season.
Per the official season 4 description, “Mike’s control over Kingstown is threatened as new players compete to fill the power vacuum left in the Russians’ wake, compelling him to confront the resulting gang war and stop them from swallowing the town.”
The logline also teases that Mike “must contend with a headstrong new warden to protect his own while grappling with demons from his past.”

Like the previous three installments, Mayor of Kingstown season 4 will have 10 episodes.
In August 2024, when asked about continuing the series, Dillon told The Hollywood Reporter that it was “exciting to be part of Mayor, and show up and deliver these characters.”
“A big driving force is to see the satisfaction with Jeremy Renner. He’s gone out of his way, he made a giant come back and to see him be artistically satisfied,” he continued. “The scripts are great, the characters great. And that’s what we want to do. We don’t want to leave any stone unturned. This show is very much rock ‘n’ roll.”

Mayor of Kingstown season 4 will debut with a special two-episode premiere on Oct. 26. According to Collider, new weekly episodes will air every Sunday until the season finale on Dec. 21.
