When Is Selling Sunset Season 9 Coming Out? All About the Series’ Return (and the Familiar New Agent Joining the Cast!)

Selling Sunset is returning to Netflix in late October for its ninth season. Ahead of the show’s renewal, multiple stars teased the series return and confirmed that fans can expect plenty of luxury listings, high-end fashion and, of course, office drama.

It seems the feud between Nicole Young and Chrishell Stause will continue in the reality show’s next installment. In August 2024, Chrishell wrote on her Instagram Stories that she would “NEVER work on a show” with Nicole again.

However, she changed her tune in an October 2024 interview with Pedestrian.TV.

“Obviously I have very strong feelings about her that I stand 10 toes down on and I don’t take any of that back,” Chrishell said in a TikTok video shared by the Australian news outlet. “However, I am also a businesswoman. I always will be able to change my mind if you add a zero. So listen, I hate her, but if you are going to pay me a ton of money to go say it to her face, then write the check.”

Who is in the Selling Sunset season 9 cast?

According to Netflix, Emma Hernan, Chrishell, Chelsea Lazkani, Alanna Gold, Mary Bonnet, Amanza Smith, and Bre Tiesi are among those returning, in addition to brokers Jason and Brett Oppenheim.

Emma confirmed her return to the show and told PEOPLE in December 2024 that she’s eager to get her “truth out” and let fans get to know her more. The truth in question could be referring to the rumors discussed in season 8 that she was seeing a married man.

“Last season, I didn’t really have a voice and lies were told,” Emma claimed. “Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to tell the truth and even address everything. For me, I’m really excited this season to just explain that to everybody and tell everyone what’s going on.”

Though there were rumors that Nicole would not be returning to season 9 due to a heightened feud with Chrishell, the reality star confirmed she would be returning in January 2025.

Nicole then posted an Instagram Reel in February, behind-the-scenes of a “Season 9 Confessional.”

As for some fresh (though familiar!) faces joining the cast, Sandra Vergara — actress Sofia Vergara’s sister — will be making her debut in season 9.

On Oct. 15, PEOPLE got an exclusive first look at the season 9 trailer, which showed the debut of new agent Sandra Vergara, jaw-dropping real estate and plenty of office drama.

“It’s still pretty crazy, behind the scenes it’s still pretty mental,” Mary Bonnet previously told TooFab in November 2024, noting the feud between Nicole and Emma and Bre’s drama with Emma and Chelsea. “There’s a map of who doesn’t get along with who; it’s really difficult because I get along with everybody.”

Mary continued, “I really hope that people really stop the low blows, I think that’s enough of all of that.”
