Whitney Leavitt to make Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in ‘Chicago’
The name on everybody’s lips is gonna be… Whitney Leavitt!
The “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star announced via Instagram Monday that she will be making her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in “Chicago” following her “Dancing With the Stars” gig.
“Grateful beyond words to ANNOUNCE that I will be joining @chicagomusical in the iconic role of Roxie Hart 💕 see you in New York City! #chicagoonbroadway,” she captioned the post.
In the clip, Leavitt — who was dressed in a little black dress, thigh-high stockings and tan stiletto heels — sat in a chair as she snapped her fingers to the intro tune of “Roxie.”
The reality TV star’s run as Roxie is slated to begin on Feb. 2, 2026, at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City.
The six-week limited show will run until March 15.
Leavitt, 32, previously hinted at her move to Broadway during a recent podcast appearance with her “DWTS” partner, Mark Ballas.
“There’s two things I’ll tease,” the reality star said on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast last Wednesday. “One, I did just book my first movie, which is really exciting.”
Leavitt then shared that the second part of her forthcoming projects would be released this week.
“What I can say is that a dance that Mark and I performed to on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ is going to come to life. And everyone’s gonna know on Monday,” she said, referring to the duo’s iconic rendition of the hit “Cell Block Tango” from “Chicago.”
Leavitt and Ballas, 39, were eliminated from the dance competition show during the Season 34 “Semi-Finals.” The Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy went to Robert Irwin and Witney Carson.
The Hulu star isn’t the first “DWTS” alum to take the stage as Roxie.
Last year, Ariana Madix landed the Broadway role after competing on Season 32 with Pasha Pashkov. The “Vanderpump Rules” alum, 40, finished the show in third place.
