So who is Darius Rucker’s fiancée? Here’s everything to know about Emily Deahl and her relationship with the artist.
She is from South Carolina, but now lives in London
According to her official website, Emily was raised in South Carolina, where she was a dancer.
In February 2024, she told Bold Journey that “growing up, competitive dance was my entire life.”
Emily moved to Los Angeles as a teenager to make her dance dreams come true. She eventually made her way to Nashville and later relocated to London in January 2025, per a YouTube video.
“I’ve lived all over the world creating and making music but London is my favorite city so far,” she wrote in her YouTube channel description.
She is a singer-songwriter
Emily is a singer-songwriter who has released original music, such as the 2019 single, “Ew” and the 2020 tracks, “My Baby Hates Me” and “Ohs.”
In a January 2023 interview with Canvas Rebel, Emily said that after moving to L.A. to pursue dance, “I quickly realized that industry was not for me.”
“I felt like I had a lot more to say creatively and fell in love with songwriting as a way to showcase some of the ideas running through my head,” she explained.
Emily spoke about her music with Bold Journey, saying, “Once I started singing and writing my own songs, I never looked back.”
“It’s taken me a very long time to streamline all of my skills into a brand that makes sense to me. And it’s constantly changing,” she continued. “The past 10 years of releasing music have helped me discover my passion for marketing, video making and most importantly, being a voice for women.”
Emily and Darius went Instagram official in September 2025
On Sept. 8, 2025, Darius and Emily went Instagram official when the “Wagon Wheel” vocalist posted a snap of them to his one million followers on Instagram.
“Wizard of Oz at @spherevegas with my love & my boys. 1000/10!!!!!” the country music star wrote in the caption.
Darius is a father to three children: daughters Carolyn and Daniella, and son Jack.
They announced their engagement in October 2025
A month after hard-launching their relationship, the pair announced they were engaged with a joint post on Instagram.
Darius and Emily shared pics from the special milestone, including Darius proposing to Emily and them embracing afterward.
“Thank you for showing me a level of happiness I have never known,” he captioned it. “The day I met you I knew I didn’t want to go another one without you. Now I don’t have to.”
Over on her Instagram Stories, Emily wrote a message to her followers about her connection with Darius.
“I never intended on keeping this part of my life from you guys for so long, but somewhere along the way of loving him I discovered how sacred love is to me. And all I wanted to do was protect it,” she penned.
“But damn I’m glad I don’t have to spend the time photoshopping him out of every photo now 🥳,” Emily added.
She is a lifestyle content creator with a TikTok following
Emily is popular on TikTok where she has close to 468,000 followers.
Her videos range from her attending events, like going to see Lady Gaga, to “Get Ready With Me” clips and a series called “Daily Negotiations with Myself.”
“It took me a long time to figure out who I wanted to be and what I wanted to say and to be very honest, TikTok helped me with that,” she told Canvas Rebel.
Emily continued, “I’ve always felt comfortable being myself on that platform and turning every spur of the moment idea into piece of content that people can engage with in real time.”
