Who Is Left on ‘The Golden Bachelor’? Mel Owens’ Final 3 Revealed

Season 2 Golden Bachelor Mel Owens is down to his final three.
The 66-year-old former NFL player (turned lawyer turned reality TV personality) handed out three roses on the Wednesday, October 15, episode of the ABC series, giving Peg, Debbie and Cindy coveted hometown dates.
“Your families, of course, are your biggest protectors and have your best interests at heart,” Mel said to the six remaining women before he started handing out roses. “So if you get a rose, we will be spending some significant and real time. I don’t take this decision lightly. It’s very important to me and I respect all of you.”
During Wednesday’s rose ceremony, Mel sent home Cheryl, who had said she was falling in love with Mel, and Nicolle, the infamous villain of the season who pitched herself for Golden Bachelorette on her limo exit. Carol, meanwhile, had self-eliminated earlier in the episode after deciding Mel wasn’t The One for her.
The Golden Bachelor airs on ABC Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET. Keep reading for more to know about the final three:
Peg
The Facts: She’s a 62-year-old retired firefighter and bomb tech, from Las Vegas, Nevada, who was cheated on by her ex-husband
The Hometown: Las Vegas, Nevada
“I’ve kissed a lot of toads out there, it would be nice to find the good guy out there, finally,” Peg told her daughter over FaceTime during Wednesday’s episode. “I have feelings for him. My heart is invested so that makes me a little bit nervous because who wants to get hurt? Who wants to get their heart broken?”
Debbie
The Facts: She’s a 65-year-old fitness professional from Denver, Colorado, who has never been married
The Hometown: Denver, Colorado
Mel noted to Jesse Palmer during Wednesday’s episode that Debbie hadn’t tied the knot in the past. “She is special. She’s never been married, but there’s not a right or wrong time to find love,” he said.
Debbie has, however, said she’s falling in love with him. “It’s a profound feeling,” Mel said to host Jesse Palmer of the revelation.
Debbie later told the cameras, “Telling Mel I was falling in love with him, you know it just came out. I’m just over the moon.”
Cindy
The Facts: She’s a 60-year-old retired biomedical engineer who specialized in group date roses
The Hometown: Austin, Texas
After only getting group date roses, Cindy got her first one-on-one on Wednesday, during which he gifted her a star named after her.
“I am feeling great about Mel,” Cindy told the cameras. “I enjoy being with him. He is such a great man. I am definitely over the moon, crazy about Mel Owens. I am falling, falling fast and I do feel like the stars are aligning for us.”
During a FaceTime with her daughter, Cindy added that Mel is “everything” that she had been looking for. “I see a forever with Mr. Mel Owens,” she said. “It’s not just a little bit scary, it’s a lot scary. I wanted to fall in love, but what if he doesn’t catch me?”
