Why Salma Hayek skipped Bezos wedding, hubby attended solo

Salma Hayek was rocking out at English music fest Glastonbury while her hubby — billionaire fashion mogul François-Henri Pinault — attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice, Italy.

Pinault, 63 — the CEO of luxury giant Kering — was photographed in a dashing tux boarding a water taxi on Friday to attend the nuptials of the Amazon billionaire and the former journalist, along with guests including Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, Orlando Bloom, Tom Brady, Leonardo DiCaprio and more.

But Hayek, 58, was not by his side.

Instead the “Frida” star was at the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England, hanging with A-listers including designer Stella McCartney, model Cara Delevingne, comedian Chelsea Handler and “Furiosa” star Anya Taylor-Joy.

A post on X also showed the group hanging with musicians Alanis Morisette, Minke and Malcolm McRae behind-the-scenes.

Handler also posted a pic of Hayek and her teenage daughter, Valentina, with the message, “Mama and da baby.”

The “Chelsea Lately” star, 50, captioned a pic with Morissette, “Alanis blew my mind.”

Acts playing Glastonbury also included Neil Young, the 1975, Charli XCX, Olivia Rodrigo, Rod Stewart, the Prodigy and more.

Hayek wasn’t the only star to miss Bezos and Sanchez’s wedding weekend.

Eva Longoria was also absent from longtime pal Sánchez’s star-studded wedding because she’s filming her CNN series “Eva Longoria: Searching for Spain,” Page Six can confirm.

Additionally, the actress’ husband, José Bastón, recently underwent shoulder surgery, sources told Page Six.

Hayek and Pinault met in 2006, and married in 2009 on Valentine’s Day in Paris. Pinault also surprised her with a vow renewal ceremony in 2018 in Bora Bora.

Hayek quipped of wedding a billionaire on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast in 2021: “When I married him, everybody said, ‘Oh, it’s an arranged marriage, she married him for the money.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, whatever, bitch. Think what you want.”

Hayek and Pinault are parents to Valentina, and he’s also father to two kids from previous relationships.

A rep for the star did not immediately get back to us.
