Why There Is an Unhinged Theory That Connects Ozzy Osbourne to Trisha Paytas’ Son Aquaman

It will come as no surprise to fans of Trisha Paytas that the internet quickly tried to connect the birth of her third baby to Ozzy Osbourne’s death.

Paytas, 37, revealed on Tuesday, July 22, that she and husband Moses Hacmon welcomed their third child together — a boy named Aquaman. In an Instagram post, Paytas shared that Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon was born on July 12 at 12:40 a.m.

Hours later, news broke that Osbourne died at age 76 after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” Osbourne’s family shared in a statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”

Users began speculating about the coincidental timing of the two announcements. “Welcome back Ozzy Osbourne,” one user wrote via social media, reposting an article that announced Aquaman’s birth, while another added, “Why everytime Trisha Paytas have a baby somebody dies.”

The unhinged theory that Paytas and Hacmon’s children are famous figures reincarnated began after the couple welcomed daughter Malibu Barbie days following Queen Elizabeth II’s death in 2022. Two years later, Paytas’ second pregnancy with daughter Elvis coincided with King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis.

“The queen and king about to reunite,” one user wrote in the comments section while another added, “Girl we need to talk about the king.”

Paytas, for her part, reacted to the memes in a TikTok and noted that the “timing is crazy” but said she hoped Charles made a “speedy recovery.”

Ahead of welcoming Aquaman, Paytas noted on an April episode of her “Just Trish” podcast that she didn’t “get” the idea of connecting the dots — especially after people were pointing to Pope Francis’ death aligning with her third pregnancy. (Pope Francis died at age 88 after being the leader of the Catholic Church since 2013.)

Pregnant YouTuber Trisha Paytas is weighing in on (unhinged!) online theories that her unborn child is Pope Francis reincarnated. “I just don’t get it. First of all, I’m months away from my due date, not even close this time,” Paytas, 36, said on the Tuesday, April 22, episode of the “Just Trish” podcast. (Her due […]

“First of all, I’m months away from my due date, not even close this time,” she said on the April episode of the “Just Trish” podcast. “He’s not in the British monarch[y]. Is it just any influential person that dies gets to come reincarnated as my baby?”

Podcast cohost Oscar Gracey quipped that if Paytas and Hacmon — who had yet to reveal the sex of their third baby at the time — welcomed a boy, the couple would be unable to “escape the baby Pope allegations.

“If it’s a boy, I guess so. I guess we’re naming it … Pope is not a bad name,” she replied. “Technically there’s girls named Francis, too. So we could have a girl [named] Pope Francis. My dad’s name is Francis, so. I’ll take the Pope, I guess. I guess that’s better than Charles.”
