Wynonna Judd’s daughter, Grace Kelley, has turned over a new leaf after numerous run-ins with the law.

In April 2024, she was busted for exposing herself on a busy highway in Alabama and then arrested again four months later for attempting to flee a police officer. Last October, she was locked up for stealing a pastor’s van in Virginia.

“I got a hold of some bad drugs,” Kelley, 29, recently told the Daily Progress of the latter incident. “I was hallucinating.”

She explained that she had accidentally gotten into the pastor’s trailer, passed out and was accidentally driven to the religious leader’s house. When she arrived at the forest-surrounded location, it “provoked paranoia and spurred a frantic quest to get away,” per the outlet.

“It was like ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ in my mind,” Kelley added.

The ordeal led to her being charged with three counts of felony grand larceny, driving without a license, destruction of property with intent, failure to use headlights and setting in motion a vehicle with intent to commit a crime.

Kelley accepted a plea deal, which consisted in part of her spending six weeks in jail and staying away from the pastor, Kent Hart. However, he and his wife instead decided to invite the troubled woman to their church, which turned her life around.

“Ever since I came to Charlottesville and I gave my life to God — oh, man, it’s just beautiful. I love it here,” Kelley said. “If it wasn’t for Pastor Kent and Megan Hart, I would still be out there using. I’d still be out there doing the same thing I was.”

The offspring of a country music dynasty was baptized into the Ground Zero Church of the Nazarene.

Following her transformation, Kelley has been able to speak more openly about the childhood trauma that affected her, including her stepfather’s alleged sexual abuse of her and her mom’s alleged cover-up.

Judd’s former bodyguard and second husband, D. R. Roach, was arrested in March 2007 in Texas and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery on a child under the age of 13. He was convicted of attempted aggravated sexual battery.

“When he was arrested and it came out in the news, that’s when she divorced him,” Kelley said of how her famous mother allegedly handled the situation.

“So is my mom rich? Yeah, she’s so rich that she was able to sweep me under the rug and abuse me and then cover it all up,” she continued. “I don’t want to talk bad about my mom, but we’ll just say she’s a good performer. She was never a mother.”

Reps for Judd did not return Page Six’s request for comment.

Kelley, for her part, appears optimistic about her future, telling the Daily Progress, “I’ve been looking for home for a long time and I think I found it.”

This year, Judd, 51, revealed she is raising Kelley’s 2-year-old while her daughter gets back on track.
