3 Popular Hulu Movies and TV Shows to Binge-Watch This Week (January 27-30)

The Boss has arrived on Hulu — or, at least, a movie about the Boss.

Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere has debuted on Hulu, and this Bruce Springsteen biopic is already the No. 1 movie on the streamer.

That made it an easy selection for Watch With Us‘ three popular movies and TV shows to binge-watch this week.

Our remaining picks include an enduring hit series from ABC as well as the latest sequel from an iconic ’80s franchise that may be a bigger hit on Hulu than it was in theaters.

‘Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere’ (2025)

The Bear‘s Jeremy Allen White may not have gotten any love from the Oscars, but he turned in one of the performances of his life as Bruce Springsteen in Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere. The film is set early in Springsteen’s career as a rock star as he struggles with the expectations placed on him. All Springsteen wants is to feel fulfilled as an artist, but that’s not what his record company is interested in.

As Springsteen works on deeply personal material, he makes a potential romantic connection with Faye Romano (Odessa Young). However, Springsteen’s complex relationship with his father, Douglas Springsteen (Stephen Graham), and his own declining mental health may halt the momentum of his career before he can truly reach the next level.

‘911’ (2018 – Present)

After literally spending a few episodes in space at the beginning of the season, 911 has quite literally come back down to Earth. Athena Grant (Angela Bassett) and Henrietta “Hen” Wilson (Aisha Hinds) survived their ordeal on the space station; now they’re back to the business of saving lives on Earth. Athena is still mourning her late husband, Bobby, but her son, Harry Grant (Elijah M. Cooper), is trying to move on by following in the footsteps of his stepfather and joining the fire department.

Meanwhile, there are always lives to save as dispatchers like Maddie Buckley (Jennifer Love Hewitt) field emergency calls before sending Athena and other first responders. They save lives nearly every single episode, but there are bound to be some tragic outcomes as season 9 continues.

911 is streaming on Hulu.

‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ (2024)

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire might be the last movie in the franchise for a while, simply because it wasn’t a huge hit in theaters. Regardless, original cast members Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts are more present in this film than they were in  Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and they still gave the new generation of Ghostbusters their chance to shine.

Following the events of the previous movie, Callie Spengler (Carrie Coon) and her boyfriend, Gary Grooberson (Paul Rudd), have moved to New York City with Callie’s children, Phoebe (Mckenna Grace) and Trevor (Finn Wolfhard), to revitalize the Ghostbusters in their hometown. However, city politics force Phoebe from the team at the same time that an ancient spirit plots to break free and plunge NYC into an eternal winter. It’s going to take all of the Ghostbusters to handle this crisis, including the OGs.
