Are you ready to watch one of the scariest movies of the year? No, we’re not talking about Freakier Friday — we’re talking about Weapons, the new horror movie starring Josh Brolin.

If those two movies aren’t your thing, relax — Hulu has plenty to offer for its subscribers this weekend.

Watch With Us has assembled three underrated movies that are sure to entertain anyone. From the romantic drama Under the Tuscan Sun to the funny-scary horror flick Ready or Not, your weekend won’t ever be in danger of being boring.

‘Under the Tuscan Sun’ (2003)

Frances Mayes (Diane Lane) just suffered a traumatic divorce that left her without a home and a purpose. With nothing to lose, she decides to take a trip to Italy, where she impulsively buys a dilapidated villa. It’s a real fixer-upper, but Frances is determined to make a home for herself and forge a new life. But when the possibility of a new romance arises, does Frances have enough courage and will to take a second chance at love?

Based on the bestselling novel of the same name, Under the Tuscan Sun is an escapist fantasy that does just about everything right. From its gorgeous locations in Tuscany to the spirited supporting cast that includes Sandra Oh, the movie is a real charmer without overdoing it. Best of all is Lane as Frances — she turns what could be a silly part into a substantial role that feels authentic, and she makes you invested in Frances finding happiness.

Under the Tuscan Sun is streaming on Hulu.

‘Devil in a Blue Dress’ (1995)

Denzel Washington is one of the best actors working today, and he’s also one of the most charismatic stars of the last 30 years. In Devil in a Blue Dress, he gets to show off both qualities as Easy Rawlins, an amateur private investigator who is hired to find a missing woman, Daphne Monet (Jennifer Beals). As Easy finds clues about her whereabouts, he discovers a conspiracy involving the upcoming L.A. mayor election and involving a local gangster, Frank Green (Joseph Latimore). Can Easy find Daphne, save her and save himself in the process?

Adapted from Walter Mosley’s acclaimed crime novel series featuring Rawlins, Devil in a Blue Dress is retro noir served with a healthy slice of social commentary about post-WWII race relations in Los Angeles. Like classic noirs Chinatown with Jack Nicholson and L.A. Confidential with Kim Basinger, it tells more than just a good suspense story, with Easy confronting prejudice and racial segregation at almost every step of his investigation. As Rawlins, Washington has never been cooler or smoother — his Easy is easy on the eyes and ears, and you’d want him on your case if you got into as much trouble as Daphne.

‘Ready or Not’ (2019)

Sometimes, it takes a while for people to enjoy a movie for what it truly offers. In Ready or Not’s cast, it’s goofy, horrific fun with as many laughs as there is bloodshed. Directed by Scream 5 masterminds Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, Ready or Not stars Samara Weaving as Grace, who has just married her wealthy, longtime boyfriend, Alex Le Domas (Mark O’Brien).

On their wedding night, Alex convinces her to indulge in an odd family tradition: whoever has just joined his family has to play a game of hide-and-seek with his extended family as the seekers and Grace as the hidden one. But Grace soon realizes this game isn’t so innocent as Alex’s mother, brother and sister all try to kill her when they find her. Why is Grace marked for death? And what secret is Alex’s family hiding?

Part of the fun of Ready or Not is discovering the answers to those questions. The movie takes some wild turns, but its crazy premise works because the execution — pardon the pun — is so good. Weaving is a terrific final girl heroine, and her blood-splattered wedding dress would make Quentin Tarantino squeal with joy. A sequel, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, is on the way, but it’d be hard for it to top the crazy fun of the original.
