3 Underrated Peacock Movies to Watch This Weekend (July 25-27)

If you’re looking for something great to watch in the final weekend of July then Peacock won’t disappoint you.
Although Peacock is adding a lot of new titles on August 1, there are still fresh films you can find this week.
Foremost among them is The Phoenician Scheme, the new movie from director Wes Anderson.
That’s just one of the films that Watch With Us selected for the three underrated Peacock movies you should watch this weekend. You can find all of our picks below.
‘The Phoenician Scheme’ (2025)
Director Wes Anderson’s latest film, The Phoenician Scheme, has most of the director’s hallmarks: An all-star cast, an offbeat sense of humor and an unusual story. This time, Benicio del Toro takes the lead as Anatole “Zsa-Zsa” Korda, an amoral and ruthless businessman with a long list of enemies. After a brush with death, Korda briefly finds himself in the afterlife and is forced to answer for his sins.
Upon awakening, Korda attempts to mend his relationship with his daughter, Liesel (Mia Threapleton), a young nun he abandoned years ago. Liesel may not be able to forgive her father, but she has a real grudge against her uncle, Nubar Korda (Benedict Cumberbatch). She needs Korda’s help to get Nubar sent to prison. Several actors from Anderson’s previous movies appear in this film, including Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson and Bill Murray.
The Phoenician Scheme is streaming on Peacock.
‘Ray’ (2004)
Jamie Foxx took home the Oscar for Best Actor for his performance as the late Ray Charles in Ray. The film covers the broad strokes of Charles’ life from his humble beginnings to his rise as one of the most popular singers of his era. However, Charles is a man who is haunted by his own demons and by his addiction to heroin.
Kerry Washington costars as Della Bea Robinson, Charles’ wife and one of the great loves of his life. Della does everything she can to pull Charles out of the spiral of his addiction, but even she can’t protect him forever.
Ray is streaming on Peacock.
‘Robin Hood’ (2010)
Russell Crowe isn’t everyone’s favorite Robin Hood, which is ironic because he’s not really the famous hero in Ridley Scott‘s 2010 retelling. Instead, Crowe portrays Robin Longstride, an archer who deserts from the Crusades after falling out with King Richard (Danny Huston). To get home, Robin assumes the identity of a slain knight and becomes Robert Loxley.
Upon his return to Britain, Robin has to maintain the charade to protect the Loxley family’s lands. Robert’s widow, Marian Loxley (Cate Blanchett), isn’t thrilled to have this interloper in her life. Regardless, Marian warms to Robin as he makes a stand against Prince John (Oscar Isaac) and prepares his people to face an impending invasion.
Robin Hood is streaming on Peacock.
