911 call reveals ‘Bob’s Burgers’ voice actor Eugene Mirman’s condition after being pulled from fiery crash, rushed to hospital
“Bob’s Burgers” voice actor Eugene Mirman was described as “incoherent” in a horrifying 911 call after being dragged out of a fiery car crash in New Hampshire.
In dispatch audio obtained by TMZ on Friday, first responders revealed his condition after he was saved from a totaled 2026 Lucid Gravity, which immediately exploded into flames.
“Motor vehicle that struck the toll is on fire … update, one caller reporting one male out of the vehicle was incoherent and got in the back of a truck,” the responder explained.
Later in the audio, they could be heard reporting that a “bystander who got involved cut his hand” and was getting “medical treatment” at the scene.
On Tuesday, the New Hampshire State Police announced in a statement via social media that a man — who was later identified as Mirman — had been hospitalized with “serious injuries” after crashing his car into a toll plaza in Bedford, New Hampshire, just before noon.
“While units were responding, a veteran State Trooper assigned to Governor Kelly Ayotte’s security detail came upon the crash, saw that the vehicle was actively on fire, and observed the driver was still inside,” the statement further read.
“The driver was then pulled from the burning car through a window and brought to safety. Governor Ayotte, along with other witnesses at the scene, provided assistance to the Trooper.”
“Certainly, their actions were heroic in what they did,” Colonel Mark B. Hall praised in the statement. “Without hesitation, they put themselves in danger to render aid to someone who was in need of it.”
Tyler Dumont, a spokesperson for the New Hampshire State Police, later confirmed that the 51-year-old comedian remained hospitalized on Wednesday evening with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
His agent, Jay Gassner, confirmed to the New York Times that Mirman had been involved in a “very scary car accident” but was “grateful to be on the mend.”
Per police, the investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed in connection with the crash.
Mirman is famous for voicing Gene Belcher on Fox’s series “Bob’s Burgers” which began running in 2011. He has also appeared in shows like “Flight of the Conchords,” “Delocated,” “Archer” and “Broad City.”
