Tallulah Willis responds to critics over posting photos of dad Bruce

Tallulah Willis defended her decision to show fans photos of her ailing father, Bruce Willis, on a “great day” despite some critics disagreeing with the move.
“I don’t think you should expose your dad to the public! He is vulnerable !” a fan commented Monday, adding, “And some things should be kept private! You don’t have his permission to post it!”
Tallulah responded directly, “Hi. I hear that. As a family we use our discretion when posting. Today was a great day filled with smiles.
“I made the judgment call to show that to the world, because I know what he means to everyone.”
Others rushed to thank Tallulah, 31, for sharing the photos of Bruce — who’s been battling frontotemporal dementia for over two years — with fans.
“Thank you, beautiful girl. It’s really generous to let us see these moments, because you know how much we love him, too,” one fan wrote, while another remarked, “As a dad I’m telling you that the hug you gave him was priceless. ❤️”
A third chimed in to defend Tallulah’s decision to share the intimate family snapshots.
“You are sharing and showing your love for your father regardless of his diagnosis,” they wrote.
“Your family has brought a greater awareness, education and spotlight on this difficult diagnosis. Follow your ❤️ in all decision making and it’s nobody’s business.”
The “Die Hard” star’s youngest daughter with Demi Moore took to Instagram Sunday to share affectionate photos from a private family gathering.
Among them was a pic of Tallulah hugging her famous dad and a photo of her holding his hand as he sat on a chair and she sat on the floor nearby.
“Sunday funday at Grams ! Grateful 🕊️,” she captioned the photos.
Bruce, 70, shares daughters Tallulah, Scout, 33, and Rumer, 36, with ex-wife Moore.
He also shares daughters Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, with his wife Emma Heming — and the entire blended family has remained close, often posing for photos and spending special occasions together.
The action star retired from acting amid a battle with aphasia in 2022, and was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia a year later.
Tallulah previously shared a trio of happy photos with the iconic actor in September. “Hey I love this guy so much and feeling feelings is tough stuff, but I’m so grateful to let them flow through me now instead of disconnecting from it!” she captioned the snaps.
Prior that that, in August, she opened up about how she copes with her father’s condition. “Our visits have so much love and I feel that overarches anything for me,” Tallulah told E! News at the time, in part.
“I know he knows how much I love him, I know how much he loves me – I know how much he loves all of us.”
