Katie Stevens is a one-woman cheer squad for her costars!
At the Comic-Con 2025 Entertainment Weekly Party at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego on July 26, Stevens opened up to PEOPLE about her continued support of her The Bold Type costars, four years after the show’s finale aired in June 2021.
“So those are my girls for life. So I hype every single thing that they do.” Stevens told PEOPLE.
Recently, her hype paid off as she predicted Megahnn Fahy’s Emmy nomination for her role on Sirens. “I literally texted Meghann after watching Sirens and I was like, ‘You’re going to be nominated for an Emmy.’ And she was like, ‘No,'” she recalled.
Despite Fahy not having the confidence initially, Stevens proved to be right, as Fahy was nominated for Best Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
Stevens, of course, made sure to remind her of such, saying, “I was like, all caps, ‘I TOLD YOU SO.’”
Stevens continued to praise on her The Bold Type castmates, saying, “I don’t know if anybody saw Aisha Dee on the SAG Awards carpet, but she is the most gorgeous, stunning human being on the planet, talent to boot.”
The cast has made efforts to stay close following the ending of The Bold Type, including vacationing in Portugal in 2023.
Stevens isn’t the only cast member in The Bold Type camp feeling the love for Fahy. While supporting Fahy’s film Drop on the red carpet, Melora Hardin exclusively told PEOPLE she was not surprised by Fahy’s rising star power.
“She’s just like sailing, and I love watching her star rise. It’s really, really exciting,” the actress said. “I knew she had it in her.”
Stevens starred alongside Fahy and Dee in the series The Bold Type, which ran for six seasons between 2017 and 2021. Steven, Fahy, and Dee played three reporters working at a fashion magazine in New York City. The show is loosely based on the life of Joanna Coles, who served as the editor in chief of Cosmopolitan.

Stevens is set to star in the Hallmark series Providence Falls, originally based on a book trilogy by Jude Deveraux and Tara Sheets, debuting on Aug. 2.
