‘Love Island USA’ alum JaNa Craig wants to ‘close this chapter’ of Kenny Rodriguez breakup

JaNa Craig is ready to “move on” with her life.
The “Love Island USA” alum, whose shocking split from co-star Kenny Rodriguez made headlines earlier this week, wants to “close this chapter,” which is “draining” her.
“I’m OK, I pinky promise! I’ve seen all the love you guys drown me in on social media; it has been an overflow of just support and prayers, and that means more to me than you guys will ever know,” the Season 6 contestant told her Instagram followers in a selfie-style video Thursday.
“But I want to close this chapter of my life. Like, I don’t want it to take any more of my energy. I don’t want it to take any more of y’all’s energy. You guys did such an amazing job showing me that I’m OK and I’m gonna be OK and that it’s all love.”
Craig went on to ask her fans to “agree” to let it go and “move on,” adding, “It’s draining me, and I know it’s draining you guys.”
She reiterated her gratitude for “all the text messages, the DMs, the emails, the TikToks” and told her supporters she “love[s]” them.
“What’s done is done. God knows what happens, and that’s all that matters,” she concluded.
However, the influencer quickly returned to the social media platform with a strong message to the cyberbullies targeting Rodriguez’s family.
“If you genuinely love me, if you genuinely care about me and wanna help me heal, I’m begging you: Please leave Kenny’s family alone. That family did nothing wrong to me. They were nothing but kind. Everyone I ever met always defends me, always stood up for me,” Craig shared, revealing that Rodriguez’s loved ones have even “been apologizing” to her.
She pleaded with her fans not to “threaten” the family or show up to their homes or jobs, as “they’ve been through enough.”
Craig, who stars on “Love Island: Beyond the Villa” alongside Rodriguez, confirmed their breakup after one year of dating with a cryptic statement.
“Please know that I have seen all the breakup theories and none have matched up to how terrible, disgusting and disappointing it truly is,” she told her Instagram followers in part.
“Discovering that someone you loved isn’t who you thought they were and that the relationship you thought you were building hasn’t been genuine since day one has been truly devastating.”
Rodriguez, 25, responded via his own Instagram Story, writing in part, “Sometimes, despite how deeply you care for someone, you come to the hard truth that the relationship was not something that could last long-term.”
The message prompted Craig to fire back by calling him a “manipulative liar” who is “not taking accountability and telling people the type of person” he is.
Craig’s friends, some of whom were on “Love Island” with her and Rodriguez, have seemingly insinuated that he allegedly does not “like black women” and was “faking” the relationship for “money” and “clout.”
Reps for the exes have not responded to Page Six’s repeated requests for comment.
