Krystal Robertson-Harris knows how to keep spirits high amid the stresses of NFL training camp.
The wife of New York Giants defensive end Roy Robertson-Harris rattled off several tips in a TikTok video for her fellow wives and girlfriends (WAGs) whose partners are involved with preseason preparations — including one way to “spice it up” since time spent together is limited.
“I’d be interested to know the mens’ opinions on this,” Krystal prefaced “the most important” thing before sharing the tip. “Don’t forget to send, you know, some little spicy pictures, maybe some videos. I don’t know. I don’t know how crazy ya’ll get,” she said with a smirk.
“But I feel like that is also good,” the real estate investor continued on the clip posted Thursday, July 31. “So you know, look nice. However your man like to see you, present yourself in that way. Send ’em some cute stuff throughout the day.”
Krystal, whose husband has played in the NFL since 2016, joked that she needs to take her own advice since she hadn’t put her words into action just yet. “I actually need to take this advice, I have not done this all training camp. I’m usually really good at it,” she shared, adding, “Get some nice lingerie, get his shirt or something.”
Training camp can be stressful and intense, which is why Krystal likes to give Roy, 32, something to look forward to each day that may seem repetitive. “Just give him something to spice it up,” she said. “Make it a different day, ya know? Just imagine. He’s with these men all day long and then he goes to his phone and he sees his girl, like, looking scrumptious? That’s what he’s gonna want to see.”
To conclude her clip, Krystal — who’s also a mom of two — gave her fellow football WAGs some encouraging words of affirmation. “Hang in there,” she said.
She then joked, “I got two boys. They’re very rambunctious and it’s hard out here… We’re trying to listen, we’re trying to teach self control, we’re trying to teach managing our emotions… and that can be really hard when you’re talking to a five year old.”

Elsewhere in her TikTok of tips, Krystal said the “number one” piece of advice that she tells people is to “not take it personal” if their partner returns home from training camp frustrated and draining.
“Throughout the years I realized it truly is so mentally exhausting and physically exhausting,” she said of NFL players who are constantly getting hit and tackled during training camp. “It’s a lot physically for their bodies, and they come home and they’re tired and exhausted.”
“Don’t take it personal,” she emphasized. “Let them be. Try to baby them. Honestly, I feel like it moments like that, he responds so well when I truly treat him like a child — and I mean in the best way.”
Sending supportive messages is another tip she shared. “Encouraging them to push through the next day,” she said. “Encouraging words that make them want to go out there and do it again… I think that’s really big because it sets the tone for the next day.”
Morning texts, too, are another go-to for Krystal. “When my husband’s in training camp, I do not text that man,” she made clear, noting, “He will text me when he can.” She added, “Encouraging words that morning… It sets the tone. It gives them that energy that they need to continue to push.”
Krystal isn’t the first partner of an NFL player to open up about training camp on TikTok.
Jessica Moss, the wife of running back Zack Moss, called it “one of the hardest weeks in his NFL career” in a video shared on Wednesday. Her husband is amid his recovery journey after suffering a broken neck last season.
The next day, Jessica shared her reaction to the news that Zack, 27, was released from the Cincinnati Bengals during training camp. The player entered the preseason on the non-football injury list after suffering a season-ending injury in November.
Jessica received a text from Zack that morning alerting her that he’s “been released from the team,” she revealed in the clip. “This wasn’t super surprising news to me because he is injured. He’s recovering from a neck injury,” she noted for those who weren’t familiar.
“Neck injuries are very severe, especially in the NFL as a running back,” she added.
