Lizzo mocks Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle campaign — again — with new song

Lizzo is doubling down on her Sydney Sweeney diss.
The “Truth Hurts” singer mocked Sweeney’s controversial American Eagle campaign on Wednesday with new song lyrics.
In a snippet of “I’m Goin In Till October,” shared via Instagram, the Grammy winner washed a car and twerked in barely-there denim shorts, a matching jacket and black heels.
Sweeney, notably, sported an all-denim ensemble in her July ad, which social media users likened to “Nazi propaganda” for its promotion of the actress’ “good jeans.”
Lizzo, 37, referenced this in her song, rapping, “Bitch, I got good jeans like I’m Sydney!”
The songwriter’s followers praised the comparison to the “Euphoria” star, commenting with laughing-crying and skull emojis.
Lizzo initially shaded Sweeney, 27, when she reposted a digitally altered meme that showed her posing in a similar outfit to the one the actress rocked in her ad.
The July upload was captioned, “If the Democrats won the election.”
Lizzo re-posted the satirical photo, writing, “My jeans are black…”
Doja Cat also made headlines for poking fun at Sweeney in a TikTok last month, with the rapper reciting the commercial in an exaggerated Southern accent.
“Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color,” the 29-year-old drawled. “My jeans are blue.”
Although Sweeney has yet to respond to backlash, she has appeared unbothered at karaoke nights, red carpet appearances and more in the last week.
Since the scandal, the “White Lotus” alum’s conservative-leaning Instagram posts have resurfaced, from her mom’s 2022 MAGA-inspired birthday party to her 2019 trip to the gun range.
Right-wing social media users are swooning over the latter, with commenters calling the “Handmaid’s Tale” alum a “valid American woman” and “wifey material.”
As for the party, Sweeney previously hit back at “absurd … assumptions” the bash was a “political statement,” later telling Variety the backlash felt like a “wildfire.”
The Post revealed last week that Sweeney is a registered Republican.
President Trump subsequently gushed over Sweeney’s ad, labeling it “hot” and “fantastic.”
American Eagle, notably, is standing by their commercial, insisting in a press release that it was “always was about the jeans.”
