New England Patriots Rookie TreVeyon Henderson Is Engaged

TreVeyon Henderson is engaged!

The New England Patriots running back announced his engagement in a post on Instagram Wednesday, Sept. 10. In a photo from after the proposal, Henderson smiled wide next to his new fiancée, who showed off her ring.

“‘Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.’ Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭30‬ ‭💍,” he captioned the post.

Henderson had apparently prepared a lit-up block letter sign that spelled, “Marry me.” Red rose petals were also scattered on the ground around the sign.

The running back has primarily kept his love life private, as his proposal post is his first featuring his partner. Instead, Henderson has focused on his social media on his football career and his Christian faith.

Henderson’s collegiate career kicked off at Ohio State University when he joined their program in January 2021.

He recently signed with the New England Patriots, and was the 38th overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. He made his official professional debut last week in the Patriots’ 20-13 loss against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sept. 7.
