Love Is Blind season 9 has come to a dramatic conclusion!
After 32 single contestants from Denver blindly developed connections through the pods, six couples took the next step and got engaged. After the newly engaged couples saw each other for the first time, they took a romantic vacation together to get to know each other physically. From there, the remaining couples moved in together and got familiar with their real-world connection.
However, along the journey, several couples decided to call off their engagement. Kacie and Patrick became the first couple to split ahead of their romantic vacation when she told him she wanted to leave the experiment. Just a few days before their weddings, Joe broke up with Madison, while Nick also cut things off with Annie.
In the season 9 finale, three couples remained: Ali and Anton, Kalybriah and Edmond and Megan and Jordan. While all three pairs had their ups and downs during the experiment, it was up to each person individually to decide whether or not they’d say “I do” at the altar.
Here’s everything to know about which Love Is Blind season 9 couples got married and are still together.
Ali and Anton
Ali and Anton became the first couple to get engaged in the pods after they bonded over their common interests and similar backgrounds. After getting engaged, they had a strong physical attraction and continued getting to know each other.
However, Ali quickly discovered that Anton lived a lifestyle with more partying while she practiced a more relaxed routine. Meanwhile, Anton expressed his frustrations with Ali not always cleaning up after herself.
As they got ready to walk down the aisle and make their final decision, both Ali and Anton received support from their families and expressed their love for each other.
During their vows, Anton told Ali that his love for her was “indescribable,” while she called their love “easy.”
When it came time to say “I do” or “I don’t,” Anton went first and said that he did want to marry her. As for Ali, she paused and got emotional while telling him the harsh truth that she did not want to marry him.
“I can’t be your wife,” she told him through tears. “I feel like the person that I fell in love with in the pods isn’t the person I’ve gotten to experience in real life. I’m so sorry.”
As Ali walked back up the aisle, she told the cameras that their contrasting lifestyles were too different for her.
“I don’t feel like he was super forthcoming about his lifestyle,” she said, referring to his drinking, working and eating habits.
Meanwhile, Anton seemed upset while telling the cameras that getting rejected “f—— sucks” and that he was also confused by Ali’s decision and reasoning.
Since their breakup, Ali has posted on her Instagram about various vacations and fashion, while Anton has shared some behind-the-scenes memories from being on the show, which included one photo with Ali.
Kalybriah and Edmond
Kalybriah and Edmond seemed like a strong match from the beginning, with a deep connection over their vulnerabilities. The pair appeared to complement each other, with Edmond being outgoing and colorful and Kalybriah being confident and strong.
The couple got engaged and headed to Mexico, but they started to struggle when comparing their relationship with the other couples. Although the pair had arguments over responsibilities and the perception that they were acting differently off-camera, they always got back together to resolve their issues.
As Kalybriah and Edmond prepared for their nuptials, they both spoke to the cameras about their love for one another. In Edmond’s vows, he said that he was “crazy” for her and that he had been “praying for someone” like her, while Kalybriah told him that she fell in love with his “genuineness, positivity” and strength.
However, when it came time to say “I do,” Edmond was the only one to say the two magic words. Kalybriah paused, apologized and started to sob, while Edmond shouted.
“I’m so sorry,” she told him. “You deserve someone that is 100 percent at the altar, and I’m not 100 percent at the altar right now.”
Although Edmond admitted that he was “not okay” with her decision, he assured her that he “respects [her] no matter what.” They continued dissecting their breakup after the wedding before they went their separate ways and continued crying.
Since the split, Kalybriah has shared about spending time with friends and traveling on her Instagram. She also shared a photo of herself and her mom from the wedding on her Instagram stories, with the message “nothing like a mother’s warm embrace.” Edmond has continued posting about his love of rollerblading and his work as a realtor.
Megan and Jordan
When Megan and Jordan met in the pods, they immediately knew they were opposites. Megan, who calls herself “Sparkle Megan,” comes from a successful financial background with a lavish lifestyle, while Jordan is a dad who prefers a simpler way of life.
Although their lifestyles seemed to be on opposite ends of the spectrum, they fell in love after Megan decided that she needed to lean into someone different from her. Throughout the experiment, Megan and Jordan’s relationship appeared to be strong as they took the next steps, including her meeting his young son.
However, as the wedding got closer, both Megan and Jordan expressed hesitation over their opposing personalities and lives. Megan explained that she wanted someone who could have more freedom and enjoy her lifestyle with her, while he shared that being a dad has its limitations.
Unlike the other two couples, Megan and Jordan didn’t make it to their wedding day. Shortly before getting to the altar, they sat down for an intense conversation in which Megan said she felt like they were “ships in the night” and “two different people” in a relationship.
“I know you are encouraging me to still do all the things that I’ve been doing on my own, but I’ve been doing all those things by myself for the past four years, and I want do those things with a partner,” she said. “I’ve never dated someone with a kid … I just didn’t realize how rigid it truly was.”
Jordan seemed confused by Megan’s decision and asked her why she picked him in the pods if she knew she “would have to make sacrifices to be with me and Luca.”
“You’re very easy to love, and I think initially, I leaned into opposites attract, but I still have reservations, and that’s not how I should be feeling going into our wedding,” she said through tears. “I’m sorry for not feeling more compassion for you and understanding and giving you what you needed in a fiancée. I just can’t do this Jordan. I love you so much, but it just doesn’t feel right.”
After the two hugged and parted ways, Jordan suggested that if he had “enough money,” they would have gotten married. He also said that he regretted introducing Megan to his son.
“I feel like she doesn’t love me for me and that’s the closure I need,” he shared. Jordan has since continued sharing on Instagram about his son and went on the What’s the Reality? podcast to talk about his time on the show. Megan posted about the finale, even sharing a photo of an ad in Times Square showing her crying.
