Brendan McLoughlin is celebrating wife Miranda Lambert on her birthday.
McLoughlin, 34, marked Lambert’s 42nd birthday with a loving post shared to Instagram on Monday, Nov. 10. The carousel post includes sweet moments, along with the country singer delighting in her hobbies: horseback riding, fishing and golfing.
“Happy Birthday to the most loving, talented and caring person I’ve ever met @mirandalambert,” McLoughlin wrote in his caption.
“From following your dreams of becoming a cowgirl, to picking up golf and competing in the Ryder Cup. You show me every day how fearless you are, how willing you are to jump into things even if it may take you out of your comfort zone.”
“The world is a better place because of you. I love you and I hope you have an amazing birthday,” he continued. “42 looks good on you. 🥳🥳”
“Thanks honey I love you,” Lambert replied in the comments.
The couple met each other in 2018 while Lambert was doing press for the Pistol Annies’ Interstate Gospel album. Her bandmates spotted McLoughlin, then a N.Y.P.D. officer, and invited him to their show, and the rest was history.
After a three-month romance, Lambert and McLoughlin got married in 2019.
“It’s nice to have a partner in that, someone by your side that supports you, loves you and believes in you,” Lambert told PEOPLE in a 2022 interview. “He loves me for me. It’s a really cool thing to have in my life, at this point in my life.”
Lambert’s not only celebrating her birthday — the “Mama’s Broken Heart” singer was also nominated for four Grammy Awards last Friday, Nov. 7.
The Recording Academy announced that Lambert’s Postcards from Texas was nominated for Best Contemporary Country Album, while her single “A Song to Sing” featuring Chris Stapleton was nominated for Best Country Song.
The country star earned two nominations for the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category for her performance of “A Song to Sing” with Stapleton and “Trailblazer” with Reba McEntire and Lainey Wilson.
“It’s always an honor to get nominated, especially alongside friends and heroes,” Lambert wrote in her Instagram post celebrating the news.
