‘White Lotus’ alum Walton Goggins bares all in stripped-down photo shoot
Walton Goggins proudly bared his birthday suit in a cheeky new photoshoot for GQ’s 30th Anniversary Men of the Year edition.
The “White Lotus” alum appeared relaxed, wearing only sunglasses, as he lounged on a patio chair while posing outdoors, per photos published by the outlet on Monday.
He crossed his legs and let his arms hang loose while casually smoking a cigarette.
Goggins’ stripped-down snap may have symbolized his self-described rebirth after starring as a leading man in Season 3 of “The White Lotus.”
“It has been the most blissful, circuitous kind of path,” the actor, who portrayed Rick Hatchett in the HBO series, told the outlet.
“I’ve been torn down to nothing and rebuilding. I feel like I’ve been reborn,” he added, explaining that he feels as if he’s “gone through the birth canal” again.
“I feel liberated, man,” Goggins, 54, continued. “Yeah. I feel unencumbered. I feel light.”
He also spoke about letting go of his vengeful on-screen character after not winning the award for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series at the 2025 Emmys in September.
The “Predator” star admitted to “carrying the weight” of Hatchett “and his prolonged sadness for so long” until he decided that it was time for his “next adventure.”
“I went over to the bathroom, washed my face, and I looked at myself. I was like, Oh, there you are. Good to meet you. Where do you go from here?” Goggins recalled.
In “The White Lotus,” Goggins’ character was a man who traveled to Thailand to seek revenge on his father’s killer.
Goggins starred alongside Aimee Lou Wood, who portrayed his on-screen love interest, Chelsea.
The co-stars were at the forefront of feud rumors when Season 3 aired in February after they notably unfollowed each other on Instagram.
In June, they put feud rumors to rest, with Goggins telling Variety that there was no bad blood and emotionally explaining that he “needed” to unfollow Wood so he could “begin to process saying goodbye to Rick and Chelsea.”
Wood added, “I think it’s such a comment on where we’re at culturally. Why is everyone obsessing over Instagram? That is irrelevant. We don’t give a shite about Instagram.”
