Kate Middleton wears green coat for ‘Together At Christmas’ carol service
There’s classic style, and then there’s truly evergreen. Kate Middleton’s latest look is proof that the two are not mutually exclusive.
The Princess of Wales was spotted attending the “Together At Christmas” carol service at Westminster Abbey this evening, dressed in festive outerwear. She was accompanied by Prince William and their three children in coordinated winter event looks.
William and the kids wore navy, while Kate looked particularly elegant in an evergreen-colored wool coat dress by Catherine Walker. In some photos, a traditional tartan skirt by Miu Miu could be seen peeking out from underneath.
Prince George, 12, wore a hunter green tie with his suit to match his mom’s outfit, while Louis wore a dark plaid design.
Middleton also had fun with accessories, draping a green faux fur lapel by Troy London around her neck and wearing dangly white gold and diamond star earrings designed by Robinson Pelham.
She kept her footwear simple but seasonally chic with her favorite black suede knee-high Ralph Lauren Collection boots.
Notably, Princess Catherine wore the same outfit for the royal family’s Christmas 2020 celebrations with the late Queen, along with the detachable fur lapel.
For that event, she wore cluster diamond earrings, along with black gloves and a petite clutch.
The Queen, of course, stood out in a bright candy cane red coat with a matching hat.
This holiday season, the royal family is looking to make Christmas extra special, as both King Charles and Princess Catherine have recently experienced health troubles. Although the princess announced her cancer was in remission in January 2025, the close-knit family continues to make every moment count.
“Charles prioritizes duty, but he’s also a family man who knows his time is precious,” a source told Us Weekly on Thursday. “He wants a special last Christmas in case it’s his last.”
Reportedly, the reigning monarch, 77 — who announced he was diagnosed with “a form of cancer” in February 2024 — plans to attend the annual walk to St. Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas morning and will be recording his Christmas speech, which airs later that afternoon.
