Venus Williams marries Andrea Preti in romantic Palm Beach wedding

Venus Williams makes one “Preti” bride.

The tennis star married Andrea Preti in a romantic wedding in Palm Beach, Fla., over the weekend.

Photos showed the couple exchanged vows in front of their close friends and family, including Venus’ famous sister, Serena Williams.

Venus stunned in a romantic plunging sheer lace wedding dress designed by Georges Hobeika, according to photos obtained by Vogue.

“I wanted to wear a dress that I thought Andrea would love and that was magical and perfect for a Florida wedding,” she told the outlet.

The ceremony was planned by Jennifer Zabinski of JZ Events, the same company that brought Serena’s 2017 wedding to Alexis Ohanian to life.

On Sept. 18, Venus, 45, and Preti, 37, tied the knot in a lush wedding in Ischia, Italy.

“We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy,” she told the outlet. “But we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork — because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding.”

After the official ceremony, the pair’s guests were then treated to a reception featuring a Naples-inspired dinner at the exclusive waterfront restaurant Lisola, according to Hola!.

Reports of Williams’ wedding plans surfaced on Friday, just after she was spotted out, potentially heading to one of her wedding events.

Photos showed Williams was wearing a white sun hat with the words “SIG.RA PRETI” etched onto it as she rode along in a golf cart through the village of Sant’Angelo. In Italian, the word “Sig.ra” is short for “signora” which translates to “Mrs.”

She also wore a white dress and a pair of black sneakers.

Onlookers also reported seeing other members of her party wearing “Team Bride” and “Team Groom” T-shirts.

Williams confirmed her engagement to Preti in July, one year after she and the actor were first romantically linked.

Williams was previously linked to Annenberg heir Nicky Hammond, whom she dated for two years. The pair broke up amicably in 2019.

“It’s not because they don’t love each other, they do. They are still friends,” a source told us at the time.

Prior to her romance with Hammond, she also dated pro golfer Hank Kuehne as well as model Elio Pis.
