Gwyneth Paltrow wears plunging sheer lace gown on the SAG Actors Awards 2026 red carpet
Gwyneth Paltrow hit the SAG Actor Awards 2026 red carpet with a bang.
The “Marty Supreme” actress, 53, brought true star power to the event, going romantic goth in a plunging black dress from Givenchy.
Crafted of sequined black lace that hugged her frame just past the hips, the drop-waist silhouette flared out with an inner crinoline below.
The sleeveless dress boasted a plunging neckline that reached her naval and a tea-length style that revealed black strappy sandals below, tied with a classically feminine bow at the ankle.
She added turquoise Belperron drop earrings and tied her hair up in a bun.
For the first time, the red carpet has a theme: “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour From the ’20 and ’30s.” And, while Paltrow might have reimagined Old Hollywood from a few decades later, she certainly knocked it out of the park.
The actress, who stars as aging starlet Kay Stone in the Josh Safdie-directed film, will be among the presenters at tonight’s ceremony.
While the Goop founder isn’t herself nominated for any awards, the entire ensemble is up for best performance by a cast in a motion picture.
Meanwhile, co-stars Timothée Chalamet and Odessa A’Zion are nominated for best performance by a male actor in a leading role and best performance by a female actor in a supporting role, respectively. The latter will also present an award.
Shockingly, this will be Paltrow’s first time at the SAG Awards, last appearing in 2000 after she won both outstanding cast in a motion picture and outstanding actress in a leading role for her performance in “Shakespeare in Love” the year prior.
For both previous appearances, she went with simple spaghetti strap dresses in similar shades of dove gray.
In 1999, she wore a Gucci look with an embellished bodice and, in 2000, she went for an even simpler silhouette and crimped her hair.
Fans of Paltrow’s vintage red carpet style are in luck as she is currently auctioning off select gowns from her entire career — including some previously worn at the Oscars.
Perhaps tonight’s look will make the cut in another 20 years.
