Kylie Kelce Jokingly Addresses News of Donna Kelce’s ‘Earth-Shattering’ Home Renovation

Kylie Kelce is weighing in on mother-in-law Donna Kelce’s viral home renovation.

“There was news so shocking and groundbreaking even I had to pop over and check it out,” Kylie, 33, joked in an Instagram reel shared by her “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce” podcast on Tuesday, March 10.

Kylie continued, “I’m of course talking about the Donna Kelce home renovation of 2026,” referring to a TMZ “exclusive” published Saturday, March 7, that Jason and Travis Kelce’s mom is remodeling her home.

“Where was I when the news dropped? I was in our home days before this news actually dropped,” Kylie said. “My mother-in-law herself told me that her plans going home were to get new windows, and that was a little earth-shattering for me because when I heard that she had scheduled this really just crazy remodel of getting her windows replaced, I thought, ‘Well done, Donna, way to do something for yourself.’”

Kylie went on, “The article actually revealed that she got nine windows and six doors replaced. I don’t know that she has six doors in her house. Minor detail, but I get it. I might want to check in with her because sometimes you just gotta go straight to the source.”

Indeed, TMZ reported on Saturday that Donna hired a company to replace several windows and doors in her Orlando, Florida, home.

Kylie kept up the humorous act, asking, “I would love to know if there’s sliders going in? Maybe some French doors? I wonder if there’s screens on the doors to get a nice through breeze, a little crosswind, through the house? Maybe a bay window? That would be exciting. A little reading nook? Stop it. That’d be cute.”

“I think that it was really, really important that this hit the internet when it did,” she concluded. “I think that the gravity of this article was important to address.”

TMZ’s report instantly went viral on Saturday as social media users reacted to the seemingly benign story as only the internet can.

“Does anyone have an update on Donna Kelce’s house situation, I’ve been worried about her doors and windows all weekend, we can’t just move on from this,” one person wrote via X.

Travis, 36, also joked about his mom’s home makeover during a Tuesday appearance on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show.

“I didn’t even know she was doing these things,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end quipped. “If she needed a guy to come screw some door hinges in, she could have just called me.”

Travis added, “But I guess she’s doing a big, massive renovation.”
