Leonardo DiCaprio makes rare move with Oscars 2026 date

Leonardo DiCaprio brought his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, as his date to the 2026 Oscars.

Though the two did not pose on the red carpet together, they were seated together during the ceremony.

The camera panned to the actor 51, and the model, 27, during host Conan O’Brien’s opening monologue, when O’Brien joked about DiCaprio being “the king of memes.”

When O’Brien asked him to do a meme on the spot of “that feeling when you didn’t agree to this,” DiCaprio was a good sport and made a funny face as Ceretti laughed beside him.

DiCaprio is nominated in the best actor category for his role in “One Battle After Another.”

While rare, this isn’t the first time DiCaprio has brought a girlfriend as his date to the Oscars.

He brought supermodel Gisele Bündchen in 2005 and he took Camila Morrone in 2020.

Page Six revealed back in September 2023 that DiCaprio and Ceretti were an item after the duo was caught in a steamy makeout session in an Ibiza nightclub.

DiCaprio is famously private about his relationships, though he and Ceretii have been spotted multiple times together.

In January, they were photographed on a yacht together partying with Tom Brady.

He also brought her as his date to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in June 2025.

Meanwhile, in December, they were caught kissing in rare PDA moments while together in Los Angeles.

DiCaprio revealed why he prefers to keep a low profile in public earlier that month,

“It’s been a balance I’ve been managing my whole adult life and still I’m not an expert,” the actor told Time magazine for a cover interview.

“I think my simple philosophy is only get out there and do something when you have something to say, or you have something to show for it,” he continued. “Otherwise, just disappear as much as you possibly can.”
