Taylor Frankie Paul’s arrest footage resurfaces after ‘Bachelorette’ cancellation
Bodycam footage from Taylor Frankie Paul’s 2023 arrest — as well as the 911 call made by her neighbor — have resurfaced in the wake of the reality star’s canceled “Bachelorette” season.
In the emotional video obtained by the Daily Mail, the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star can be heard screaming at then-partner Dakota Mortensen to “shut up” before he opened the door.
Mortensen, 33, accused Paul, 31, of being “hammered” and insisted he was “sober.”
The MomTok creator subsequently asked, “Throwing stuff at me sober? … You threw me in the garage.”
After officials separated the on-again, off-again couple, Paul sobbed as she spoke about the altercation during which she alleged, “I pushed him. I hit him. He pushed me. I don’t know what to say about it.”
She admitted to going “ballistic” but said she was “so scared that [she] peed [her] pants.”
Mortensen, for his part, told another cop about Paul “launching chairs” at him — as seen in the disturbing cell phone video released Thursday — and claimed to have been “scared for [his] life.”
As the “confused” reality star was cuffed, she asked, “Why am I under arrest? So you’re going on his word against mine? … He pushed me and I’m under arrest? I pissed my pants and I’m under arrest?”
Paul was told that her neighbor called in the domestic dispute, with Us Weekly revealing the woman claimed “somebody [was] screaming, ‘Get off me,’” and “there [was] a woman screaming.”
The individual added, “It’s like the garage door keeps opening and shutting. It sounds like she is trying to get out.
“I don’t know if the kids are there right now because I think she … shares time with her ex-husband,” the neighbor continued, referencing Tate Paul, with whom Taylor shares daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 5.
Taylor and Mortensen, for their part, are the parents of 2-year-old son Ever.
While their tumultuous romance, which began in 2022, briefly ended after the arrest, the duo reconciled — only to make headlines for splitting again in 2024.
Taylor pleaded guilty to one felony count of aggravated assault, which would be reduced to a misdemeanor after a three-year probation.
Additional charges — two felony counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, as well as one misdemeanor count each of child abuse and criminal mischief — were dismissed.
News broke earlier this week that she and Mortensen are being investigated for another alleged domestic violence incident stemming from two dates in February.
Season 5 of “SLOMW” halted production amid the drama.
On Thursday, ABC cancelled Taylor’s season of “The Bachelorette,” which was set to premiere over the weekend, costing the network tens of millions of dollars.
