Sterling K. Brown left Jennifer Hudson speechless this week when he revealed he likes to masturbate before going to bed.

The “Paradise” star made the racy bedtime confession during “The Jennifer Hudson Show” on Thursday.

“I’m gonna try to be candid. I’m going to be 50 later on this year, so I’m entering into a candid phase,” Brown began after Hudson asked about his bedtime routine. “Sometimes I go to bed before the missus. She’s a bit of a night owl; she stays up a little bit later than your boy.”

He continued, “But sometimes you have this feeling at night, where you’re like, ‘Aw man, I feel, ya know.’ And so sometimes I have a little quality time with Sterling. And it helps me go to bed.”

While Hudson, 44, was left speechless by the “This Is Us” alum’s candid confession, her audience roared with laughter and applause to Brown’s unabashed bedtime admission.

“I see many brothers who understand what I’m saying, and it’s in the spirit of transparency,” Brown added while pointing at the audience. “Sometimes it helps me lie down.”

Hudson, who earlier in the episode revealed that she likes to keep her shoes on in the shower, ultimately broke her silence to ask Brown whether his “shoes are on or off” during his “quality time with Sterling.”

“I take my shoes off,” the “Washington Black” star laughed.

Elsewhere during his time on “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” Brown revealed that he tore his Achilles tendon shortly after wrapping filming on Season 2 of “Paradise,” the post-apocalyptic political thriller he stars in with James Marsden on Hulu.

The scary injury happened while the “Atlas” star was playing basketball with his son Andrew and Andrew’s friends.

Brown shares sons Andrews, 14, and Amaré, 10, with his wife, actress Ryan Michelle Bathé. He and the 49-year-old “Boston Legal” alum married in 2007.

“I’m cooking. I got like 16 [points], I’m hitting everything,” he recalled. I go left. I go down.”

Brown continued, “Nobody touched me. I go, ‘Who stepped on my foot! Just apologize for stepping on my foot, and we’ll be alright.’ And they’re like, ‘Sir. Nobody touched you.’”

The “American Fiction” star also made headlines earlier this month when he messed up his lines during a skit with “Abbott Elementary” star Janelle James during the 2026 SAG Actor Awards.

“Fun fact, even though I ruined that joke, I actually can be funny!” he laughed after pretending to walk off the stage following the mistake.
