It’s been 20 years since “The Devil Wears Prada” hit theaters and we’re officially one week away from the sequel’s release, so it’s time for a refresh.

The 2006 movie follows aspiring journalist Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) as she works as an assistant to a demanding fashion magazine editor, Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep).

Hathaway and Streep will return in the upcoming sequel alongside Emily Blunt as Emily, another one of Miranda’s assistants in the first film, and Stanley Tucci as Nigel Kipling, the fashion director of Runway Magazine.

The upcoming sequel reunites Andy and Miranda at Runway as the landscape of media continues to change around them.

You can currently stream “The Devil Wears Prada” on Disney+, Hulu and HBO Max.

How to watch ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ for free

Of the three services, “The Devil Wears Prada” is currently streaming on, Hulu is the only one that offers a free trial. New Hulu users can get started with a 30-day free trial on the streamer’s basic (with ads) plan. After the trial period, you’ll pay $10.99/month.

Hulu also offers an ad-free plan; it costs $18.99/month, but does not include a free trial.

If you want to stream the movie without a subscription, you can rent “The Devil Wears Prada” on-demand for $3.99 on Prime Video.
