Ryan Reynolds shares carefree selfie with Blake Lively after actress’s shocking settlement
Unbothered.
Ryan Reynolds shared a carefree selfie with his wife, Blake Lively, after the actress reached a shocking settlement in her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.
On Monday, the “Deadpool” star took to his Instagram Stories to share a picture of himself and the “Gossip Girl” alum enjoying some fresh air outside.
In the snap, set to the tune of Millie Jackson’s “Here You Come Again,” a makeup-free Lively placed her hand on the side of her husband’s head as they snuggled close and smiled for the picture.
The selfie came one day after the “A Simple Favor” star, 38, and Baldoni, 42, settled Lively’s suit against the director — two weeks before the case was scheduled to go to trial on May 18.
“The end product — the movie ‘It Ends With Us’ — is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life,” both sides said in a joint statement to Page Six.
“Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors — and all survivors — is a goal that we stand behind,” they added.
“We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard.”
Both parties added that they “remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments” and it is their “sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”
Both Lively and Baldoni earned no money in their lawsuit settlement. However, sources told Page Six Hollywood that their legal teams made $60 million combined to sue and countersue one another.
In December 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit against the director, accusing him of sexually harassing her on the set of “It Ends With Us.”
Baldoni denied Lively’s claims and, the next month, filed a $400 million countersuit against the actress, Reynolds, 49, and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, alleging defamation, extortion and more.
However, Baldoni’s suit was dismissed in June 2025.
Last month, a federal judge dismissed most of the claims in Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni, including sexual harassment, defamation and conspiracy.
Only three of her claims were allowed to proceed: breach of contract, retaliation and aiding and abetting in retaliation.
Hours after news of the settlement surfaced, the “Age of Adaline” actress attended the Met Gala 2026 solo.
A body language expert exclusively told Page Six that Lively — who stunned in a 2006 Versace pastel-colored gown and bedazzled Judith Leiber handbag customized with her four kids’ artwork — displayed a “reserved sadness” and “signs of discomfort” at fashion’s biggest night.
