Jerry O’Connell makes ‘dirty’ confession about wife Rebecca Romijn’s ‘funky’ body odor
Jerry O’Connell admitted his wife Rebecca Romijn’s body odor smells “funky,” but he’s all for it.
“Well, I have to tell you, my wife, Rebecca Romijn, rubs crystals under her arms,” the actor shared on Monday’s episode of the “Thanks Dad with Ego Nwodim” podcast.
“And I’m here to tell everyone, it doesn’t work.”
“The crystals under the arms doesn’t work,” O’Connell, 52, continued.
“Now I don’t mind the way my wife — it doesn’t offend me. I actually, ah — this is gonna get a little dirty — I kind of like it when I can smell my wife’s body odor.”
“It’s kind of like, yea — she’s alive, we’re alive, we’re living,” he added. “It’s, like, a little kicking and like, it’s a little funky town.”
O’Connell and Romijn, 53, tied the knot in 2007, two years after her divorce from “Full House” star John Stamos.
The couple is also parents to twin daughters Dolly O’Connell and Charlie O’Connell, 17.
The “Stand By Me” star has been open about his relationship with Romijn, including when he recalled his mom offering to bail him out of getting married during a recent appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark.”
In the joint interview with his mom, Linda O’Connell, Jerry shared how the matriarch told him, “You don’t have to do this,” as they made their way to the ceremony.
“You don’t gotta do this! I’m just sayin’! You can, if you want… You can go to the airport — no questions. We’ll cover for you. It’s okay. You sure about this? She’s a beautiful girl, she’s very nice, but you sure about this?” Jerry recalled his mom saying.
The “Sliders” alum reassured the audience that Linda “loves” Romijn, and she echoed his sentiments, saying, “I do.”
As for the model, she recently shared that the secret to her and Jerry’s long-time marriage was keeping their “money completely separate,” and having a “community pot” for joint expenses.
“The one who’s not working gets a little bit of a break and the one who is working puts in a little more,” she shared on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” last July. “And we really tag-team with work.”
Additionally, Romijn and Jerry have the agreement that “one of them would always stay home” with their kids, saying, “No one else is ever going to raise them besides us.”
