Cardi B and ex Offset reunite amid contentious divorce to celebrate son and daughter’s birthdays

Cardi B and Offset set aside their differences to celebrate their kids’ birthdays together.

The exes both posted Instagram Stories from their son Wave and daughter Blossom’s joint birthday celebration Saturday. Wave turned 5 years old on Sept. 4, and Blossom turns 2 years old on Sept. 7.

The lavish party appeared to be both Disney-themed for Blossom and Sonic the Hedgehog-themed for Wave. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper posted video of herself in a Minnie Mouse outfit, consisting of a red polka-dot dress, yellow heels, and bedazzled Disney mouse ears.

The party featured huge balloon arches, a ball pit, carnival games and snacks, and an open bar, as well as huge trays of food.

Cardi, 33, made sure to show off her Chipotle spread, telling her fans, “Remember when I said if I get married, I’m gonna put a Chipotle stand? Well I ain’t getting married no time soon, but I got a whole bunch of kids and of course I got a Chipotle stand.”

She also shared adorable video of her and Offset’s eldest daughter, Kulture, 8, doing a runway walk and posing to Katseye’s hit “Gnarly.”

As for Offset, 34, he posted a video of Wave happily dancing with cotton candy in hand.

The exes did not post any pics or video together.

Cardi and Offset got married in September 2017, and shared a tumultuous relationship that she previously admitted was marked by “a lot of drama.” The two split and made up multiple times before she filed for divorce for the second time in 2024, after rumors that the Migos member was cheating on her.

An insider told Page Six at the time, “They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do.”

The split was contentious, as she later blasted Offset as a deadbeat dad on X in June 2025, also claiming he was an absentee father.

“[Offset] has seen Blossom only like five times,” she claimed. 

In September 2025, Offset told TMZ that he “just want[s] all peace” for their family and “for us to win.”

“We got kids to take care of,” he stressed.

In March. Cardi — who welcomed a son with NFL athlete Stefon Diggs in November 2025 — said she felt “reborn” after her split from Offset.

“I feel like last year a new person was reborn,” she said during her appearance on the “Aspire With Emma Grede” podcast. “I don’t know if it was the divorce. I don’t know if something woke me up. I feel like I’m definitely a new person.”
