Cast cries over Debby’s confession

Part two of this season of “90 Day Fiancé”s tell-all took a sharp emotional turn when Debby revealed her mother is manic depressive during a tough conversation over Mallorie’s reasons for not wanting kids.

Part two of the tell-all aired Sunday on TLC, and put Mallorie and her husband, Rasit, in the hot seat. The two almost didn’t get married because he desperately wants kids and she doesn’t, with Mallorie citing that she’s never had a good example of what a healthy relationship with parents looks like.

Debby — who’s a mom to her daughter Devin and her son Caden — called this out, choking back tears as she shared that she also had a traumatic childhood.

“I did not have what most kids dream of as a mom,” she said as her husband, Mido, comforted her.

“My mom was very unhealthy, mentally manic depressive, but I can tell you from my experience of going through that life, and how hollow it makes you feel, when your kids come — it heals all that,” she continued.

“It’s the only thing that brought me peace, was that I was going to give my children …”

Mallorie chimed in, “The life you didn’t have.”

Debby continued to cry as she explained, “And those little feet and those little fingers, and those little eyes, when they recognize you, all that sadness goes away. It heals you like nothing else does.”

Mallorie was openly crying at this point, and fellow cast member Marissa also began to sob. Marissa was heartbroken because while she has two sons of her own with her ex-husband, at 45 years old, she doesn’t think it’s possible to give her younger husband, 32-year-old Edward, kids even though he wants them.

Marissa noted, “Oh, when I heard her, I was like, ‘I’m taking that away from him.’ And he doesn’t get to experience that.”

She added, “Because he didn’t have the best childhood growing up either.”

At that point, cast member Paula was shedding tears, while Caty appeared to be on the verge of breaking down.

When host Shaun Robinson asked Edward how he felt, he broke down in tears as well.

“This is so hard,” he said, as Rasit also wiped his face. “It’s not fair.”

It eventually became too much for Edward as he walked off stage, noting, “I feel like s—t.”

In a preview of next week’s episode, Rasit observed, “I think he want to be a dad more than me.”

Edward and Marissa were then seen having a conversation backstage, with Edward telling her, “I really want a kid.”

Marissa replied in tears, “It feels so horrible, like I’m crushing your dreams.”

“90 Day Fiancé” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
