Amanda Bynes amuses herself with her phone, smokes vape during rare solo outing in LA

Amanda Bynes was spotted for the first time since wiping her social media clean earlier this week.
The ex-child star, 38, was seen walking around Los Angeles Friday, wearing an oversized black shirt with sheer leggings and black sneakers. She kept her vape on hand, as she scrolled through her phone.
Bynes ditched the wigs and extensions, opting to put her hair up in a small bun. She paired the look with a pair of sunglasses and a black Chanel crossbody purse.
Last month, Bynes opened up about her depression online, revealing she once gained over 20 pounds as a result on her mental health struggles.
The “What I Like About You” alum then made fans feel concerned after she abruptly deleted all of her photos from her Instagram account.
Despite the scrubbing, Bynes left behind certain Instagram Story highlights, including her post about depression, which read in part, “I’m doing a lot better now and have learned to do opposite action when I don’t feel like working out or eating clean.”
“I weigh 162lbs right now and want to get back to 110lbs,” she concluded in the message.
The Nickelodeon alum has been the topic of conversation lately following the bombshell revelations disclosed in Investigation Discovery’s “Quiet on Set” documentary, which detailed the alleged mistreatment of the network’s child stars throughout the late ’90s and early 2000s.
Her former “What I Like About You” co-star, Jennie Garth, recently spoke out in support of Bynes, whose mental health struggles have led to several stays at treatment facilities over the years.
Garth, 51, shared that she has not spoken to Bynes since the docuseries aired last month, but told the Hollywood Reporter at a recent event, “I just love her, and I would love to see her at any point.”
The actress also had a very pointed message regarding her thoughts on “What I Like About You” co-creator Dan Schneider, who had several scathing allegations levied against him in the docuseries.
“I don’t want to talk about Dan Schneider ever again in my life,” Garth said at the time.
Bynes did not appear in the documentary nor has she discussed the allegations made by any of the other former Nickelodeon stars who participated in the series.
