Love Island star Callum Jones shared a cryptic photo about ‘moving forward’ after his split from Jess Gale.
The reality star recently appeared on the All Stars version of the ITV2 programme where he had to spend weeks with his ex Molly Smith while getting to know new people in the villa. Molly and Callum dated for three and a half years after meeting on the show many years ago.
In the latest series, Callum got close to Jess, with the two coming in second place in the final. However, it was speculated that they broke up after they were allegedly seen arguing at Molly’s Boohoo collection launch. The two were reportedly ‘hanging by a thread’ before calling it quits.
And now, he took to his social media page to share a message about ‘moving forward’ in his life. He took a photo of a page of a book which read: “If you want to change the world… get over being a sugar cookie and keep moving forward.” He also used the first part of the quote for his latest post on his grid.
Earlier this month, Love Island winner Molly revealed her boyfriend Tom Clare – with whom she won the show – has been treating her better than he ex-boyfriends have in the past. The couple have been enjoying quality time together after leaving the villa on a high note.
They appeared on the show along with the likes of Georgia Harrison, Arabella Chi, Kaz Kamwi, Anton Danyluk, Josh Ritchie, Toby Aromolaran and more. Although Molly and Callum had an awkward start when they first walked into the villa, they managed to become friends by the end.
In a recent interview, Molly, 29, said that she and Tom, 24, are now ready to take their romance to the next level by moving in together. In the chat, she said they have both been on “cloud nine.” Unwilling to end her unprovoked attack on Callum, she followed it up by saying that Tom is more mature than her exes.
Speaking to the Mail, she said: “You know sometimes when you think, ‘Is this too good to be true?’ I don’t like jinxing things but right now I can’t fault our relationship. Moving in together is the next step, we are practically living together as is… we just haven’t made it official yet.”
She added: “Our age difference used to bother me, but I have been with people in the past who have been older and shown less maturity than Tom does… Tom for his age, shows so much maturity and he’s actually treated me better than anyone I’ve been with…”
