A$AP Rocky fuels Rihanna marriage rumors in most telling comment yet

Must be marriage on the brain.

A$AP Rocky fueled rumors that he and Rihanna have tied the knot amid fan speculation that the duo secretly said “I do.”

The “Praise the Lord” rapper referred to himself as Rihanna’s “husband” in a new interview with Perfect Magazine, published Wednesday.

“Being a father and a partner and a loving husband in my family is what makes me really, really happy,” he said, referring to his three kids with the singer: RZA, 3, Riot, 2, and 1-month-old Rocki.

Rocky further explained that raising a family is what keeps him inspired in his art.

“That’s what honestly does get me going: being able to express myself creatively, being able to be a family man and being able to be an artisan,” he said.

This isn’t the first time that Rocky, 37, has hinted that he and the “Diamonds” artist, also 37, have already wed.

Rocky was asked if he was ready to be a husband in an interview with Elle published last month, to which he replied, “How you know I’m not already a husband?”

He then added with a laugh, “I’m still not gonna confirm it.”

While he remained mum on their marital status, the hip-hop star did share some insight into his partnership with the Fenty Beauty founder.

“We don’t talk too much about work, because we deal with that all day, every day,” Rocky explained.

“When you come home, it’s about family,” he continued. “It’s about your relationship. It’s about your household. It ain’t about all that other s–t.”

Rihanna and Rocky started dating in 2020 after being friends and collaborators for years.

Two years later, they sparked engagement rumors when Rihanna was spotted wearing a massive diamond on her left ring finger.

In May of that year, they welcomed their first child, son RZA.

In February 2024, Rihanna announced that she was pregnant and expecting her second child with Rocky while performing in the Super Bowl LVII halftime show.

The couple secretly welcomed son Riot on Aug. 3, 2023.

After Rihanna revealed that she was pregnant with their third child while walking the red carpet at the 2025 Met Gala, Rocky expressed their desire to have a baby girl.

“We’re praying for a girl,” he told Elle, adding, “Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby. The second time, we didn’t want to know. Third time, we don’t want to know until, you know.”

Rihanna confirmed that she gave birth to Rocki Irish Mayers on Sept. 13 by sharing a photo with the newborn.

While she didn’t state the sex of their child, she commented with a pink bow emoji and Rocky confirmed it’s a girl by commenting on her post, “MY LIL LADIES ❤️.”
