Anna Todd has written her own happy ending!
The 36-year-old author behind the best-selling After book series has tied the knot with Jinwook Hong. She announced the news on Instagram on Saturday, Aug. 16, sharing a series of photos from the special occasion.
“Long story short…. we said ‘I do,’ ” she wrote.
The photo carousel shows the bride and groom holding hands as an officiant oversaw their outdoor ceremony, sealing their union with a kiss, dancing and posing with loved ones. One adorable shot captures the newlyweds posing with Anna’s son, Asher — whom she welcomed with ex-husband Jordan Todd — as Jinwook playfully pinched the boy’s cheeks.
Another photo shows the couple at a desk, seemingly making their marriage official with paperwork.
Anna wore a simple floor-length white dress for the wedding and carried a bouquet of white flowers. Her husband wore a cream shirt and white jeans.

In the comments of Anna’s post, friends and fellow authors shared their well-wishes for the newlyweds. Meghan Quinn wrote, “Actual perfection. So happy for you two ❤️,” while Kennedy Ryan commented, “OMG!! Anna!! Congratulations.”
Jinwook shared his own Instagram post featuring black-and-white photo highlights from the nuptials. He captioned the carousel, “Let’s walk together.”
Back in February, Anna shared an Instagram post that detailed all the things she loves about her now-husband. She described him as being “very protective,” “ambitious” and “charming beyond words.”
“Puppies and kids adore him, always makes me feel safe … [and] makes me laugh so hard that it hurts (almost daily),” she added.
Anna published the first After book in October 2014, quickly followed by After We Collided, After We Fell, After Ever Happy and the prequel Before. According to her professional website, the series has sold more than 12 million copies and been released in 35 different languages.
The books have been adapted into movies starring Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford.
Anna is also the author of the After graphic novels, the Brightest Stars series, the Landon series, The Spring Girls and The Last Sunrise.
