Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro’s Relationship Timeline: Outings, Wimbledon and More
Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro have kept their connection low-key.
The pair were first spotted together when they both attended W Magazine‘s Best Performances party in Los Angeles. Garfield and Barbaro were snapped while hanging out with other partygoers. The following month, rumors swirled that Barbaro and Garfield were dating.
Neither Garfield nor Barbaro has yet to speak out about their romance. The Amazing Spider-Man actor has been candid over the years about keeping details about his love life private.
“How many of those relationships work out?” Garfield said on an October 2024 episode of Chicken Shop Date. “I mean, it’s, like, flash-in-the-pan stuff, usually.”
While the pair have been mum on their romance, they have been photographed together on multiple occasions. The actors made their first public appearance as a couple at Wimbledon in July 2025. Garfield and Barbaro wore coordinating white outfits and walked into the venue hand-in-hand.

Garfield and Barbaro attended W Magazine‘s Best Performances party. While at the event, they posed for photos alongside Eddie Redmayne and journalist Lynn Hirschberg.
February 2025
One month after their run-in, People reported that the Oscar nominees were dating.
“They’ve been really lowkey and have been spending time together quietly,” a source told the outlet at the time.
That same month, the pair attended a performance of Jonathan Bailey as he starred in Richard III on the West End in London.
March 2025
Barbaro and Garfield continued to fuel romance rumors as they were photographed grocery shopping together in Malibu, California. Later that month, the twosome attended the Oscars separately but reunited at the Vanity Fair after party.
May 2025
Garfield and Barbaro enjoyed some quality time in New York City as they caught the Broadway show John Proctor Is The Villain. Barbaro attended the Met Gala solo days later. However, Garfield greeted her at The Mark Hotel in New York City following the iconic fashion event. According to a video captured by Cosmopolitan, Garfield smiled after he saw Barbaro return following an afterparty.
July 2025
After keeping their romance low-key for six months, Garfield and Barbaro made their first public appearance as a couple at Wimbledon. The actors arrived at the All England Tennis and Croquet Club in London hand-in-hand in coordinated white Ralph Lauren looks. As they watched the tennis match, Garfield and Barbaro shared multiple laughs.
