Angel Reese is covered in gold for her first Victoria’s Secret campaign

Angel Reese is taking it from the court to the beach.

The WNBA player made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut back in October, and is now making it print-official as the face of the lingerie brand’s latest swimwear and beauty collection.

Throughout the images, the athlete lounges on the sandy beaches of Barbados wearing a flurry of brown swimsuits and cover-ups — and glowing golden bronze, too.

In some photos, she is even covered in golden body paint that catches the light of the setting sun.

“The theme is bronze, and I’m all for the bronze and the sun, and being here in Barbados, the vibe is literally perfect.” Reese told Elle Magazine of the shoot.

The pics introduce Invisible by Victoria’s Secret Strapless Collection, featuring a no-slip grip technology as well as the new Bombshell Bronze Eau de Parfum.

“Basketball is gonna stop one day,” Reese shared in reference to her ever-expanding, multi-hyphenate title, adding, “It’s important to have your own narrative and be able to take control of that.”

In September 2024, she launched her podcast, “Unapologetically Angel,” covering a range of topics each week, depending on her guest.

“It’s important to have your own narrative and be able to take control of that,” she explained to Elle, continuing, “I know how it feels to be on the other side, to feel like the media is against you. So being able to have a comfortable and open space for guests to come on, but also for myself to have my own platform was important for me.”

This past fall, the 23-year-old made history as the first professional athlete to walk in a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

“Stepping into a dream … I’m finally getting my wings,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
