Anthony Hopkins Wears Skims Face Wrap After Hannibal Lecter Comparisons, Kim Kardashian Reacts

Anthony Hopkins has entered the chat after Kim Kardashian’s new Skims face wrap garnered comparisons to his Silence of the Lambs character, Hannibal Lecter.

“Hello Kim, I’m already feeling 10 years younger,” the actor, 87, said while channeling Hannibal in an Instagram Reel uploaded on Thursday, July 31.

In the clip, Hopkins donned the nude version of the Skims Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap around his head. He also wore a bright blue Hawaiian shirt and a nude wristwatch. He did his infamous slurp before bidding farewell to Kardashian.

“Thank you, Kim. Don’t be afraid to come over for dinner,” the caption read while tagging Kardashian in the post.

Kardashian, 44, quickly took to social media to react to Hopkins’ post.

“I’m screaming!!!!” she wrote via her Instagram Stories while resharing the video.

Fans flocked to Hopkins’ comments section as well, sharing their delight with the Oscar winner’s sense of humor.

“THIS is why the internet was invented. Amazing Sir Anthony! 😂,” one user replied, while another penned, “Hannibal girl summer.”

Hopkins famously played Hannibal Lecter in the 1988 horror film. The actor won an Academy Award for his portrayal of the fictitious cannibal and serial killer. In the film, Hannibal wears a nude muzzle mask to prevent him from taking a bite out of anyone while in custody.

Kardashian released the new shapewear product for the face on Tuesday, July 29. The item, which is supposed to help snatch the wearer’s jawline, comes in two colors: clay and cocoa.

“Just Dropped: The Ultimate Face—our first-ever face innovation, made with signature sculpting fabric and infused with collagen yarns for ultra-soft jaw support,” the brand wrote via Instagram on Tuesday alongside photos of a model donning the product.

Many social media users took to the comments section to draw comparisons between the Skim item and the infamous movie villain.

“What in the Hannibal is this,” one user wrote while another replied, “State of the world in shambles, people dying … Kim: New Hannibal Lector Nylon face wrap just dropped!!!”

The wrap sells for $48 and is currently sold out on Skims’ website.
