Aoki Lee Simmons charms guests at Haute Living dinner party in NYC after moving on from St. Barts spring fling
It seems Aoki Lee Simmons has put her brief, headline-grabbing romance well behind her.
The model, 21, was spotted at a Haute Living dinner party for Liev Schreiber at Ambra in New York’s West Village this week, and we’re told she expertly worked the room.
“She floated around from chair to chair and introduced herself to everyone. She was very sweet and personable,” a dinner guest told Page Six.
Simmons arrived to the intimate dinner for 30 from an event for her agency, Lion Management, we’re told.
It was one of a few New York sightings of the model since she broke off her spring fling with much older Serafina founder Vittorio Assaf, 65. We’d reported that the romance ended, in part, due to the furor of her famous mom, Kimora Lee Simmons.
But Scheiber was the party’s main attraction despite Simmon’s presence as a guest, we hear.
He arrived to the dinner promptly at 7p.m. with his wife, Taylor, and son Sasha, whom he shares with his ex, Naomi Watts.
The “Ray Donovan” star, 56, and his son wore matching black suits, while Taylor rocked a back dress.
The magazine’s publisher, Kamal Hotchandani, led a champagne toast congratulating Scheiber on his Tony nomination for “Doubt.”
“[Hotchandani] gave a speech about Liev and [the actor] was in great spirits. He was posing for photos and mingling with all the guests,” our source said.
The restaurant served Schreiber’s Slainte Irish Whiskey brand, and attendees included Sante D’Orazio, Andrea Catsimatidis, Ulla Parker, John Utendahl and Ambra owners Matt Shendell, Andrea Ienna and Shaun Rose were also at the dinner.
