Ariana Madix Returns to Broadway, Joins Cast of ‘Just in Time’ After ‘Chicago’ Debut
Ariana Madix has officially extended her Broadway era.
The Love Island host, 41, is joining the cast of Just In Time at Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theatre. Portraying Connie Francis in the hit musical, Madix will perform from September 12 until November 22.
“It’s a pinch me moment to be able to come home to the Broadway stage and all I could have ever hoped for,” Madix said in a statement. “I am beyond excited to work with the legends behind Just In Time and to entertain audiences at one of my favorite theaters in the city!”
Just In Time focuses on the iconic singer Bobby Darin and how his meteoric rise to fame turned him into a global success. Previous stars to have tackled the role of Connie, who shared a romance with the late Darin, include Modern Family alum Sarah Hyland and Gracie Lawrence, who earned a Tony Award nomination in 2025 for her performance.
Madix, who rose to fame herself through the reality TV series Vanderpump Rules, made her Broadway debut in 2024. She portrayed the famed role of Roxie Hart in Chicago during a limited run, returning months later for another batch of shows. Madix also followed the stint with a performance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
She exclusively told Us at the end of 2024 that she was “manifesting” a return to Broadway after learning to love herself more than ever before. “I would love to go back to Broadway. I would love to — I’m turning 40 in 2025 — so I would love to feel that feeling,” she said. “[I want to] feel that feeling that so many women talk about when they hit 40 or in their late 30s, 40s — that they feel like [they’re] so themselves and so comfortable with themselves.”
Madix added at the time, “I’m looking forward to feeling that. I don’t know that I’ve felt that yet, so I’m manifesting that now for myself.”
Madix will star opposite Jeremy Jordan as Darin in Just In Time, succeeding Olivia Holt, who is currently playing Connie. Fellow reality TV star-turned-Broadway-darling Whitney Levitt will also star as Sandra Dee from December.
Last month, Madix addressed claims that she wouldn’t return to her hosting duties for Love Island. When a social media user wondered in the comments section of one of Madix’s posts whether season 8 would be her “last season hosting,” Madix responded, “Why would it be.”
Madix recently earned her first Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program through her work on the Peacock series.
