Bella Hadid’s new beau identified after Adan Banuelos breakup: report

She has a type.

Bella Hadid’s mystery cowboy beau has been identified as project manager Nathan Lacy.

“She does have someone she’s hanging out with, but he’s just someone she’s getting to know,” a source told the Daily Mail Friday of the model’s relationship with Lacy.

“So don’t get too excited about it. I think she’s just trying to have a companion, she’s not trying to get married, she’s not trying to make this more than it is.”

According to another insider, Lacy, 38, is from Colorado and comes from a well-known local family who have a reputation for being “very Catholic, very conservative and very red.”

The Lacy family owns a construction company in Crested Butte, Colorado, which Nathan has worked for since an “early age,” per the website.

The source added that Lacy has earned a reputation as a “local heartthrob.”

Page Six has reached out to Hadid’s reps for comment.

Hadid and Lacy were first spotted together back in February while in Milan, Italy. In photos obtained by Page Six, the two left a restaurant together and Hadid stopped to sign some autographs.

Since then, Hadid has been spotted hanging out in Lacy’s hometown, according to the Daily Mail

Her new relationship comes months after her split from cowboy boyfriend Adan Banuelos, following a “tumultuous” two years together.

“The Adan thing took a lot out of her, she really loved him, he loved her, it didn’t work,” a source told the outlet. “She was hurt and it took some time for her to get past it. She had said she wasn’t going to get into a relationship for at least a year, just to keep herself from going through it again.”

Days after news of their breakup broke in January, Hadid and Banuelos were filmed dancing at a bar in Weatherford, TX — and hours later, he was arrested for public intoxication and bonded out of the Parker County Jail after paying $386.

The exes were spotted together again in April, sparking reconciliation rumors.

At the time, Hadid and the pro equestrian got cozy at a celebrity cutting event held at Taylor Sheridan’s ranch in Texas.

In a snapshot obtained by TMZ, the pair was pictured sitting closely and chatting at the event. Banuelos and Hadid both wore cowboy hats for the outing.

However, a source exclusively told us in February that the former couple’s on-again, off-again dynamic was attributed to their differing lifestyles.

“She’s the daughter of Mohamed and Yolanda Hadid,” the insider said, noting Hadid’s multi-millionaire real estate mogul dad and reality TV star mother. “It’s such a different way of growing up.”

The supermodel, notably, moved into Banuelos’ trailer in Texas for a period of time — but sources told us that ultimately the pair were unable to rein in their differences that came with Hadid’s jet-setting lifestyle.

“She has a lot going on, campaigns, this and that,” said the source. “When she is in supermodel mode, mere mortals can not keep up.” 

“She tried to put him in her life and it’s all cute, but he is in a very insular world of rodeos,” they further explained. “He tried, but it’s too much.”

The pair first started dating in the Fall of 2023 after they met at a horse show in Fort Worth, Texas.

Hadid hard-launched the relationship on Valentine’s Day in 2024.
