Ben Affleck spends Easter with ex Jennifer Garner after praising ‘wonderful’ co-parent

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner celebrated Easter as a family.
The amicable exes came together Sunday while spending some time with their youngest son, Samuel.
The “Argo” star, 52, and the 13-year-old were spotted leaving World Market with their hands full earlier in the day before the “13 Going on 30” actress, 53, met up with them at Affleck’s Brentwood, Calif., home.
Garner was photographed driving away from the actor’s $20 million mansion with her son in the front seat.
In addition to Samuel, the former couple shares Violet, 19, and Seraphina, 16. It is unclear whether the two older kids joined them for the holiday.
Affleck, who was married to Garner from 2005 to 2018, recently praised his ex after they were seen getting cozy during a paintball outing for Samuel’s birthday.
“I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well,” he told British GQ last month.
However, there have been rumors that Affleck “would love another chance” with Garner following his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
In March, an insider told us that the “Justice League” star “would definitely be open to giving things another shot with Jen if the timing is ever right.”
However, the source added, “At the same time, Ben knows it’s just not realistic at this time in their lives.”
Despite Affleck’s wishes, another insider told Page Six that the “feeling is not mutual,” as Garner is still going strong with her boyfriend, John Miller.
“She’s happy with John, and that’s just not where her head is at,” the second source said. “She has a great co-parenting relationship with Ben, and that’s where things stand on her end at the moment.”
We’re told Affleck “respects Jen’s relationship with John,” which began in 2018, and would “never” want to do anything that could “come between them.”
Although the two men get along, the restaurateur was not happy to see photos of Affleck affectionately holding Garner during their paintball outing.
While the CaliBurger CEO “has always been supportive” of their co-parenting relationship, we heard he felt Affleck “crossed the line.”
“John knows there’s nothing going on between Jen and Ben, but he doesn’t think those photos are a good look and feels it’s disrespectful to their relationship,” a source told us.
According to the insider, Miller, 47, “gave Jen an ultimatum” — “he doesn’t want to see anything like that again or he has no choice but to walk away.”
The exes have notably kept their distance since.
