Bethenny Frankel spills on her ‘s–t week’ amid Paul Bernon’s romance with Aurora Culpo: ‘Livin’ la vida no-ca’
Bethenny Frankel celebrated the Fourth of July by recalling her “s–t week.”
The former “Real Housewives of New York City” star documented the miserable past several days she’d had from the comfort of her Hamptons home – comparing the experience to the death of her mother.
“My mother dying when I was at a low was like a 1, maybe this was like a 3,” Frankel said in a TikTok video, which she filmed while lying down on her bed with her dog. “I didn’t sleep all week.”
Frankel, 53, explained that her 14-year-old daughter, Brynn, was busy at a friend’s house participating in “Americana” traditions and having fun. Meanwhile, the reality star candidly admitted that she would not “pretend to be livin’ la vida loca,” referencing Ricky Martin’s famed hit.
“I’m livin’ la vida no-ca,” she said, adding that she’d elaborate on her podcast this week. “I’m trying not to bust out. I’ll explain it all later. Really, really s–t on a cracker.”
The Skinnygirl founder signed off her nearly three-minute video by showing off her bedside margarita and wishing her followers a happy Fourth of July.
Frankel’s social media catharsis comes shortly after news broke that her ex-fiancé, Paul Bernon, has moved on with Aurora Culpo months after ending their engagement.
The pair were spotted making out in Boston last month just days before Aurora’s sister, Olivia Culpo, married NFL star Christian McCaffrey in nearby Rhode Island. The former Miss Universe refused to allow Aurora to bring Bernon, 45, as a date to the nuptials.
“[It’s] rude to invite somebody I’ve never met,” Olivia shared on their “Barely Filtered” podcast after the wedding.
Although Aurora, 35, and the investment banker have been dating for only a couple of months, she revealed on her “Barely Filtered” podcast that they’ve already met each other’s kids.
“He’s met them twice and, like, on FaceTime and stuff,” she said, adding that she met Bernon’s teenagers at a tennis match.
“He’s really nice. He has his kids, two, and they’re 17 and 14,” she explained. “They’re older, and they’re really nice.”
