‘Big Brother 28’ star admits to repeatedly peeing in shared shower
Call the pee patrol!
“Big Brother 28” contestant Lyric Medeiros shocked fans with a bathroom confession on the live feeds, admitting to fellow Houseguest Mallory Aurichio that she repeatedly urinates in the shared shower.
“l have a secret to tell you,” Medeiros tells Aurichio in the behind-the-scenes moment. “I’ve peed every time I’ve come in the shower.”
While Aurichio assures her “it’s fine,” Medeiros doubles down, saying, “And I don’t feel bad about it — not even a little bit.”
Aurichio again has her friend’s back, telling her, “You shouldn’t. I wouldn’t feel bad either.”
The moment concludes with Medeiros explaining her rationale for urinating in a shower that at one point was shared by up to 17 contestants at the beginning of the season.
“‘Cause everyone in this house is out to get me,” she reasoned.
Fans were split on Medeiros’ revelation, with some calling it “nasty” and “extremely inconsiderate” for her to urinate in a shower she shares with other people.
Others offered counterarguments, with one person asking “what’s so taboo about peeing in a the shower” while another called out fans for “being so performatively disgusted in these comments like I know 90% of you pee in the shower.”
Around the same time Medeiros’ live feeds confession was circulating around social media, the show shared a video to its social media pages featuring Houseguest Taylor Brown deep-cleaning the shower.
“Every Sunday I take it upon myself to clean the bathroom and, let’s just say, everybody in this house is disgusting,” she says.
“Today, I took a toothbrush and I scrubbed between each piece of grout,” she added. “I don’t think it was this clean before we got here. But it’s all good.”
“so basically she’s saying y’all nasty in the #BB28 house 🤣 #BigBrother #BBTS,” the post’s caption read.
Again, fans didn’t disappoint in the comments, as one wrote: “Doesn’t help that Lyric’s peeing in it.”
Medeiros — who is up for eviction this week after Brown won the Power of Veto to save herself from the block — has made waves this season thanks to her showmance with fellow contestant Rome Seymour.
Following Seymour’s eviction, Medeiros cozied up to controversial Houseguest Kamu Kirk when he was Head of Household to help secure her safety.
Speaking exclusively to Page Six, Seymour, 28, said he wouldn’t be jealous if Medeiros resorted to “flirting” with the other guys to help her game.
“I told her before I left, ‘You have to use your cute damsel in distress presence to really get in good graces with the other side of the house, because these guys will eat this ‘hero idea’ for lunch,” he said.
“She’s so smart, and she’s so good at being that cutesy, lovey-dovey self,” he added.
Despite their showmance, Medeiros ultimately joined the rest of the house in a near-unanimous vote to evict Seymour — but he told us he forgives her and knows it’s just a game.
“Big Brother 28” airs every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and is available to stream the next day on Paramount+
